Also, it might take a day or two for the parking charge to appear. And if it's your first time registering, you should get it for free.

I doubt there's a car park anywhere in the UK where you can pay retrospectively the next day

Sometimes Good2go take the payment from my account a full week after the parking date, but that probably only happens if you're pre-registered.
