I think it’s the lack of trust in our own fan’s behaviour dictating most drinking establishments near the ground are home fans only.

I've only been in a few times, but it was 45 minute wait for one of those kebabs and a good 20 mins for a drink

I've not been in for a while, so could have improved? 

its not big enough now. hopefully we expand it over the summer for next season. a bit more cover and heaters and we are onto a winner

I've heard a few rumours on that place, owner of that definitely maybe wanted it, but the rent etc is a fortune apparently

The purpose of the post was to illustrate that the apology had come earlier than athy thought, and for folk to read what other fans thought about it.

Not arsed either way; folk can decide for themselves- Shortland's involvement was only a tweet, the same as others, and I didn't see the article as saying anything other than reporting of fans' reactions.

The apology Athy posted was from today's paper. The article you posted was regarding an apology posted on The Sun website on the 15th.

No wonder print media is dying if that’s how long it takes to appear in the paper.

I assume it was done on the weekend as part of the usual football feature.

It was (like most of the Sun's many apologies) in a tiny paragraph in a weekday paper, this is a slightly longer if still just as insincere version from todays rag
