The clubs rotten, and the majority of our fans know it. Most are just turning up out of habit and to see mates, nobody’s going to be going out of their way, and ducking and diving to get to our games these days. 

I live in Ardsley Nightmare and I have to say my mates over here feel the same way and are totally brassed off with what’s going on. It’s a real shame because Tykes are a salt of the Earth football club just being badly run at the moment but I’m sure it will change at some point but not before tomorrow sadly for you and whilst of course it’s not a done deal I think the chance of you progressing is pretty remote.

Human nature to go through those phases really. In a weird way I found some of the Freedman & Lennon years much tougher than getting slapped every week under Hill. Probably because it was well paid players who couldn’t give a shit rather than a team of has been’s and never will be’s.

Still remember a game in the shite old days of Anderson/Lennon. We went one down in the first half.
 

They announced the goal scorer and it was only at the point me and my mate realised we had no idea who the fuck we were even playing. 
 

We were basically paying for a season ticket to have a couple of pints before and after the match. Might have been apathy but the strange thing is we were both entirely ok with that.

I was bored and just watched planes flying overhead even before we were losing 

And I'm thinking why am I here

Then at the end, the time of year meant it was dark and there was a full moon above the opposite end

Took a pic of it and that was my highlight

Bit further back than that, I think, if it was the midweek game under presumably Lennon. Samizadeh the Saviour making his one appearance for us. We ended up in a lock-in in the pub where they filmed Green Street.

My spreadsheet tells me that I went to 30 games that season and I barely have a single abiding memory from it other than opening day optimism at West Brom and getting humiliated by Hull and Wigan.

We’ve got a new owner, chairman, CEO, Tea person,  person in the Toby Tyke suit what seems like every few weeks, we’re currently being investigated for it . Truth is nobody knows who’s doing what, the EFL have been trying to get to the bottom of it for months.

I had no idea. At some point earlier this year, possibly just after the 1-1 draw at ours, I was convinced you were going up automatically.  Then that home game v Lincoln happened.

Football matches (and grounds), rugby matches (and grounds). Both since 2009ish when trying to figure out how much money I spunked in a season watching Leigh RL win about 3 games. Plus the usual money ones that presumably everyone has (or not). And, erm, a certain chain of nationwide pubs, despite the fact I avoid them like the plague on an away day.

No, I’ve never been tested, but I think it’s fairly obvious 😂
