May 6, 20242 yr Cosgrove shook things up a bit & I'd be surprised if he doesn't start. But there's a reason he was on the bench & a reason Plymouth got shut As for Santos, he was definitely limping on Friday. It's wait & see I guess. We have Iredale and Caleb if needs be. Let Barnsley worry about us, not us them.
May 6, 20242 yr Obviously Rico is a massive player for us but it it’s a choice I’d much rather have him in a potential final against probably a strong Posh than risk him against what should be an already beaten Barnsley. That’s not counting chickens because even without Rico were surely better than Barnsley and moving Toal to the centre and Iredale to the left seems a pretty good option to me. Cosgrove is just a big lump but what else have they got up there? Their defence is poor so the prospect of us not adding to the two goals is remote in my view so if there’s any risk to the skipper, don’t risk it and leave him out for the big one at Wembley.

I think "should be an already beaten Barnsley" is wildly complacent. If they get the first goal it could be a very uncomfortable evening.

Yeah, I'm assuming the manager and players aren't thinking along those lines. Long way from done this. Never the easy way 😄

I'm sure they know what they are doing but after our injury luck this season now is not the time to be fucking about taking unnecessary risks So if he plays I hope it's because he's 100%

What a load of bollocks this discussion is. As if we don't have professional staff to make this sort of decision, and Santos is going to be playing whether he's ready or not.

Maybe if we could get whoever plays alongside him up to 101% somehow, that would even things out You're right though, @Casino is talking bollocks

May 6, 20242 yr Theirs no doubt about it we’re a much better side away from home, because the atmosphere isn’t as toxic, but you’re 3-1 up and after the regular season you have the best home record in the league. I just can’t see how you can see anything other than Bolton winning at a canter. Even the idiots who support us have seen the light and are taking their tickets back this morning.

Hmmmm, you did say you'd put at least six past us at yours, though. I don't think your team played anywhere near as poorly as you suggested they might, apart from your number 2 who had an absolute shocker.

My thoughts, Baxter doesn’t make that save total different story

May 6, 20242 yr First goal crucial, we get it we play our normal game, if they get it the crowd get tense and it flows down onto the pitch, perfect for Aaron Collins this game not sure teams no how to mark him.
