Shopping list for next season?

Besides the obvious (Cosgrove), the other Longstaff who has had the ACL injury? Worth a punt?

Think we were third in budget table.

We finished 3rd.

Oxford finished 5th and went up, tiny budget, what are you trying to prove

That's desperate stuff, especially as you've insinuated it to be a fact.

Facts where Oxford and Pompey going up, sorry i have had to simply my facts for you!

Nothing. You just said Lincoln, Barnsley, Cheltenham, Fleetwood and Port Vale didn't have the pulling power or budgets as Pompey or Derby, hence they went up 1st and 2nd and the others didn't.

I'm saying we were 3rd in budget league and we finished 3rd.

Oxford went up because we decided not to turn up on Saturday and were on a roll.

It happens a lot in the play offs.

I didnt say anything of the sort, i pointed out that Pompey and Oxford had changed managers and went up. Beevers quoted other teams that had changed there managers and had failed, i said  the teams who he quoted didnt have the resources like we have. Which are all facts.

My apologies I misread.

However we we finished where we should've done relationship to budget.

Our positions during the season, Big game shit shows and last weekend are a different kettle of fish all together. We should have been promoted and only us stopped that.

End of day, changing managers works for some and for others it doesn't.

There's only way to find out...

Not sure how accurate transfer market is but according to that we spent more than derby & Portsmouth, I guess there’s undisclosed transfers which never come out

You have missed my point.  Wednesday appointed a relative unknown in Xisco Munoz in pre season who  was a total disaster, the worst manager in their history getting 2 points in 10 games.  My point being sometimes it is better the devil you know

Apart from getting Watford promoted to the prem

That's not what you said.

Keep trying.

This is exactly my point, you don't always know what you are getting with a new manager and sometimes it is better the devil you know.  Munoz was a complete and total disaster at Shef Weds, I don't think there is any argument against that despite what he achieved at Watford.  If Evatt gets sacked who do we bring in and who is to know if they will be any better than what we have seen under Evatt.

I can’t bear another year of Evatt

He got Watford promoted to the prem

Got sacked because Watford are Watford

I wouldn't describe someone who achieved that promotion being later appointed by a team in the same country as being relatively unknown

Jack Cork released by Burnley - exactly the type I'd go for if we could convince him to do a 2 year deal on not a fortune

Ivan Sunjic released by Birmingham this summer is the one we should go all out this summer to sign

Think Cork will get a Championship club no trouble

Did he play in our reserves?

Think he might have done. His dad was a coach for a short while I think too
