Madri

Featured Replies

Not a bad pint as that type of drink goes.

But why is it so fucking expensive they have just started selling it  in my local and it is £5.50 a fucking pint.

  • Saying how madri is coors makes you really cool though. Truth is it’s a perfectly adequate pint when served cold.

Masterful bit of marketing. Brewed in Tadcaster by Coors. Fuck all Spanish about it.

  • I think you're all trying too hard. Lager snobbery surely isn't a thing, is it? Doesn't a bog standard German beer just piss all over these brands? I wouldn't know, I mainly drink Guinness.

“Premium” init

I don’t mind it at all and find the seethe quite entertaining, but it’s certainly not worth paying over the odds for. Cruzcampo heading that way too. Although I find the price of both varies WILDLY between pubs.

I don’t mind it but it’s not a top 5 job

Gives me a headache the day after.

It's no good at all

Carling is way better.

But adding a Spanish name seems to appeal to folk. Weird.

Used to play Football at a school opposite the brewery ... Fucking stank

I don't mind it, but I'd certainly not class it as a premium lager.

i thought madri was burton?

anyway, see my post above

Czech lager still stands top of the pile for me.

I'll go Urquell as it's imported. Anything brewed in the UK isn't half as good.

For ale/IPA type stuff, I've got to say Black Edge make some stunners. I think fresh is best when it comes to ale though.

the staropramen unfiltered is proper czech

kronbacher is proper german

my go to crafy wafty is definitely pentrich

stunners

but, i think im getting my arse in gear and going to rivi tmrw

It's fucking shite and drunk entirely by city fans who make it think it makes them look all continental and that

Kronbacher is delightful.
