"just saying it can even make it happen"

Well thinking it!!, you know when you think about things even subconsciously and then they happen, but never in a good way is it?.

Eg, yesterday i need some petrol, i leave house and all the way to petrol station I'm behind a van, i think to myself that's quite a new van but the brake light is out.

I get petrol and i blow the tyres up, jump back in ignition on & Warning Brake lamp out!!!!.

Last night i think to myself this washing machine was the cheapest we could find at the time and its been a good un, stick a few bits in this morning, bastard won't spin.

Now this affy I'm off to visit a woman i used to work with, if i think long and hard that when i get there she'll say f*** the tea and chat lets just have sex do you reckon that will happen??

No me neither,

Just saying like.

HBAHT?

This thread will last 13 posts and then stall until one specific poster takes it to 14. I've write their name down in a sealed envelope.

How many have ever imagined winning the lottery?

Doesn't happen for many.

Alright Brendan

This does not work, after nearly 20 years my missus has still not shut up despite me thinking about it for last 19 and a bit years.

I do it routinely with both flat tyres on my van or toothache.

Soon as I think I've not had either for a while. Bosh.

I'll probably get both tomorrow now and it's all Whitestars fault.

I did recently have the thought of a tree falling on me. Within a couple of days or so, two did- one a way off, and one pretty much whilst I was under it.

Weird.

every time i put my window down on my car

i think one day you wont come up

BINGO

monday it didn't

It's called synchronicity. Jung wrote a book about it, tying thoughts to a causation even though there is no link. Also when you haven't heard a song in years and then three times in a day - you link them.

It's also the best Police album.

I muck around with old cars.. as soon as I say she's running as sweet as a nut I KNOW she'll erupt into a plume of blue smoke... put a favourite through an MoT a while ago and just driving away from the garage with a big grin on my face and the clutch slave cylinder gave up the ghost... spent the next half hour pissing around underneath (in the rain) and then drove home without a clutch

Some days, my morning dirt feels like it’s going to be that perfect, life-affirming empty, with only one wipe necessary and that walking on air feeling afterwards,

then BOOM

its a ten wiper and I end up in the shower bitterly regretting my dietary choices.

I dreamt a few years ago that I was in a car and a motorbike was following me. I slowed down so he could come past but he didn't. As the dream progressed the car turned into a push bike  then a kids bike, the road narrowed and became a narrow path in a wood. My follower became a jogger but still wouldn't pass. Suddenly I came to a big building all lit up and a woman in a white uniform came to me and said 'thanks for coming, you're just in time'.

It turned out he wasn't following me, he was making sure I got there so  I could givehim some blood.

Day after I got a letter from the blood service asking me to go.

True or tripe ?

I wrote my name in an envelope and planned to be the 14th post. But I forgot, daft cunt that I am.

With you brother. Wouldn't normally push it but there's an Aussie programme called Outback Car Hunters which is well worth a watch. All based here around Perth and out in the vastness of the WA outback.

Some of the characters they meet out in the wilds are brilliant. Tough, wiry fuckers with few teeth, no razors and a big appetite for the red cans.

For once, they don't overdo the Aussie stereotypical 'Bruce', 'strewth' and 'drongo' type bollocks. A couple of proper good lads rescuing some amazing vehicles. I'd never heard of a Mazda Bongo (I just sickened myself) until I saw this show. Just done a series 1 Landy and sent it back to Blighty.

Guessing you would enjoy this show mate.

Included motorbikes until last year... getting too old now and I now need a wheel in each corner, getting into time trials... there's a particular bend waiting for me with my name on it... just telling you will now make it happen!

I've come across a few nutters and still hang out with some... I once shot off on a mountain bike with a para-glider engine on my back so not to be outdone they fitted an ex RAF rocket assisted take off pod to a land rover... No way would I touch it, it didn't survive the first run.

A few years ago, I attended an Australian Classic Scooter Rally on the Gold Coast in Queensland. There was one nut job who had customised a Lambretta in an Evel Knievel theme and wore the full suit with cape with a sort of Confederate flag design on it. On every organised run, he would get right at the back and then, anywhere a crowd had formed to watch the procession go by, would scream down the outside like a whirling fucking dervish.

For some reason, I am picturing you in that get up right now. :D
