My sisters got one but just appears loads of lativian ice hockey or something with a bazillion channels. I don't know what to watch with just iPlayer 😁 Quote

I read recently that people have sent dog shit to less likeable hoteliers which surprised me on four in a bed. Quote

It's my comfort watch, it's utterly bonkers. "Look! Look! There's a pube in the bed!" "Lincolnshire fry, sir?" "Margaret and Duncan are just game playing, pure and simple" "There's a road outside and I did not get a WINK of sleep" " You've underpaid us by £15, can you explain why? Yes, there were skid marks on the toilet bowl, the shower was too small and your breakfast was swimming in grease" Quote

For £70 a year it's worth it just for the odd bit of PPV boxing you'll get throughout the year even if you don't use it for anything else. I've got Sky Glass and Perfect media on mine. It's got every single channel from BBC, Sky, BT and every boxset and film under the sun. We sacked Sky off completely. With amazon prime, Netflix, Now TV, and everything else a smart telly offers, plus the dodgy for sports, there's fuck all left Sky can actually offer. All for way below the £150 month we were paying. I'm afraid I don't watch boxing, never have done. We have Prime (but we use it mainly to have delivery etc) Netflix and Disney that we keep rolling and then switch on Now entertainment from time to time. Did that today as I've not caught up with House of Dragon, so what's that? £30? Dunno as I only pay for the Disney subs so it's 9.99 a month for me. Quote

Winchester White Posted January 9, 2025 Posted January 9, 2025 Anyone who thinks a dodgy firestick is a replacement for a full sky package is a lunatic. Anyone who wants box sets and a somewhat reasonable live experience of TV can get it through dodgy means of course. If you can afford it, stay with Sky/Virgin and the legit apps like Netflix etc. I like my dodgy one just for old movies and series you can't get but no way is it perfect by any means. Quote

Nearly It is a replacement and if you value always on 100% reliable like this mug does its an inferior product If youre not arsed if it goes off, why pay 120 a month Quote

Spider Posted January 9, 2025 Posted January 9, 2025 Those peasant sticks just look like a right load of shit with piss poor picture quality. Quote

I have both. The IPTV is great for series and movies and catch up stuff plus the ppv you would never normally pay for is a bonus. If you actually want perfect sky sports then don't be surprised if it doesn't cut it. Quote
