January 15, 20251 yr I'm not and never will be. But the growing strength of anti evatt feeling, leads me to suspect that there maybe a few fans who will show their dissatisfaction towards Evatt on Saturday, manifested in own made banners etc...
January 15, 20251 yr Popular Post Despite my own pretty conservative views on expressing discontent and disappointment, there’s certain things I can let ride in the current situation. I’ve never minded the difference of opinion discussed on here, crazy political analogies, Evatt/Stalin 😂) I’ve not spoke out at instinctive moans in the stadium and boos at half/full time. I’m even becoming increasingly tolerant at some of things we are now seeing, the banners, the dark humour of cheering opposition goal and some of the taking the piss chants at our downfall. But I really dislike the personal stuff. We all agreed the murder joke was anything but that. Similarly with the targeting of his family - scumbags. But also some of the abusive and inhumane stuff disappoints me. While he might be arrogant, disillusioned, limited, narrow-minded and plenty of other failing adjectives at the moment, he’s not evil, I’m not wishing he hadn’t been born. While he might be doing a bad job of it at the moment, he’s a guy who has passionately tried to do the best for BWFC - he doesn’t deserve some of the abuse he’s getting. January 15, 20251 yr Popular Post At Rotherham on Saturday I joined in with "sideways and backwards" as that is generally true and quite humerous, and I also suspect it riles him. I just can't bring myself join in with "we want Evatt out" as I don't think it helps anyone at all during a game, including the players on the pitch as well.

Though I may think Evatt has run his course, I just couldn't bring myself to chanting for Evatt out. Couple of people on Twatter saying about throwing tennis balls on the pitch as a protest. I know the football isn't pretty and we've regressed this season but as a whole, the club is being run generally well and I don't think this situation warrants mass protests and tennis balls. I personally find it a bit ridiculous and embarrassing to suggest it.

That's just daft, and it would get us a fine of the EFL no doubt, no way we should be doing that *sneaks off to see if I can get a container load of tennis balls shipped over from China before CNY holidays start this weekend

Yes the majority want him gone, but we also want to win the match. Make any feelings known at Full-Time, but before and during, get behind them

January 15, 20251 yr Not for me I just sit and say nowt or not bother turning up Last night my Lincoln pal and me ended up quietly laughing it was all so pathetic... for eff's sake was the most common comment from us
January 15, 20251 yr Go a goal down on Sat and it will go pear shaped sharpish. Wouldn't surprise me if we didn't have people on the pitch like under Freedman.

Which is my way ... though maybe an occasional lone voice shout at Parkie for hoofball or Freedmam for being a cock. Coyle too, for his bewildering selections ... but I will never forget & admit to being part of the tumultuous uproar when Megson, yet again, made a 'hold onto it' substitution at 2-0 v Hull, bringing McCann on for Klasnic. Genuine bedlam I looked over & saw Gartside & Eddie Davies glance at each other. Going on to draw from a winning position ... again. I knew that tomorrow's news would be his exit. Mate... we're going to win on Saturday... Cambridge haven't won a game for ever... Kachunga and Ndulu have kept their goal difference the lowest in the league. Then its all happy days until the next time
January 15, 20251 yr Fans need to stop being so fickle. If we go a goal up what's the point in changing your opinion. If you're against Evatt then in my opinion you need to do your bit to make that known. It's come to a point now when the fans have to direct the change, because this ownership group are completely devoid of any action. The club is in a mess on the pitch, we have been embarrassed by nearly everybody. Huddersfield supporters now giving it to us, whacking us 4-0 at home earlier this season and then taking our best striker off us. We have become a joke, with a soft owner who is deluded in her own personal relationship with the manager, which is costing us. People have become so damn sensitive, "don't boo the team, don't protest, get behind them". I'm personally way past this point, we all spend too much time and money on this team and I am just frankly bored and sick to death of watching the same crap and even worse listening to that absolute manure that spouts out of that mans mouth week in week out. It's already toxic, no point trying to paper over the cracks any longer. Change needs to happen. Edited January 15, 20251 yr by Lostock Whites

Being just outside play offs with half a season to go and spending over £1m on a new player is not a mess. We've had too many bad results/performances in 1st half of season but the club is not in a mess.

Doesn't have to be as severe as a situation as it was beforehand and still not be seen as a mess. Yeah obviously that was horrific and we all remember it well, but this is also bad and requires change, further action from supporters in my personal opinion.
January 15, 20251 yr Until any protest hurts the clubs pockets they won't be bothered at all. Wonder if they will release ST early this year and what the uptake will be like?

Dunno if that means he comes back to us for treatment.
