The fact a derailment has made 2.5 hours late is irrelevant; this is always the correct response

  • It's a massive gamble but one I'm all for. I honestly couldn't face another season of that weak as piss mentality getting bullied and battered by fuckers like Stockport. Let's just have a fu

It's not that hard a start. Stockport ain't gonna be the same team this year. Don't see Reading and Lincoln at home as particularly difficult. Barnsley away might be tough but I think we need to be positive.

Got to give it a go... zero points on the table and all to play for... they might still have the play off failure blues... go in there and show them how its done... feel really up for this one

No such thing as a hard start in this league. Looked at the fixtures and thought we’ve some crap to play this season.

Anyone know what’s going on with Away ST this season?

Would expect details in the next few days. Think they usually wait for the fixtures to come out first and the first batch of Sky & GMP changes.

come in the home end

They have increased their home season tickets by 700 so less match day tickets available.

We have to play each team twice, might be better playing stronger on paper teams early before they gel.

Still reckon I'll get what I need if I get on it soon as tickets become available

Demand won't be that high for them that the end behind the goal sells out quickly

And Stockport, et al, will think the same.

I thought the EFL had told them to give a higher allocation to away fans?

Yeah I was under the impression we were going to be behind the goal now? Incoming summer thunderstorm….

Stockport game changed already to Sunday noon!

The fixture list is nowadays like a rough guide to as and when you may play games.

It hasnt actually! Read the BN, in Iles words, " the game as been shifted to Sunday, 12 noon"

@Leyther_Matt how do you cope with all these changes?

must cause havoc with your spreadsheet and advanced bookings :D

Free cancellations are the key on the hotels, back end of the season very heavy on that front but if for example Plymouth went to 12.30 on the Saturday then it doesn’t really matter as we’d go down Friday anyway

Only issue really is hanging on for the last minute on train tickets but it’s not as if there is much saving these days between advance tickets and off peak returns

Only stopover we’ve got in the first half of the season is Stevenage and even that is only because it’s near t’lad and is my birthday weekend. And even then might get canned for internationals (Lottery Winners in Llandudno is the back up for that one!)

Oh and any faint hope of combining buses and taxis for Stockport and trying to make the best of it are very much out of the way for 12pm on Sunday. Fucking hell that’s going to be dull, but saves a few quid at least.

When the fixtures were released at 12 noon it was already confirmed as being at noon on Sunday and live on sky.

If it hadn't had been a TV pick then yes it would have been at 3pm on the Saturday and streamed on skysports+ but sky had already made their TV choices for the first weekend before the fixtures were officially released to the public.

I am shocked given the rebirth of Christianity in the country there is no outcry over playing on Sundays
