Has anybody got a 9

and would you do it again?

Time for my owd samsung S10 (poss) to get a refresh for more battery life

I have an 8 pro, pretty good, does the job.

I've got a 7 pro

screen cracked and all a bit knackered

weighing up between paying £250+ to get it fixed or just get a brand new 9

in any case

I'm sticking with Pixels for the foreseeable, great phones

The fact the back and tile buttons are swapped round compared to Samsung took a little getting used to at first but all good now, I will probably stick with Pixels too.

I had had a pixel 4a. Now I just get the nipper’s hand me down iPhones every 2 years. On my 4th with another to come next month. £8 a month giffgaff. Sorted. I’m a tight git.

Coming up on 4 years on a Pixel 6, best phone I've had still runs fine.
Will get another Pixel when this one gives up.

I've got a Pixel 7A. Haven't had a single problem with it in 18 months. Battery life is still excellent.

Me. Love it.

Had a 7 will get another when this packs up

I have a 8 pro and wouldn’t get another, the fingerprint security is utter dogshit, has been for years on pixels.

10 is due out soon.

I do the same with my wife’s hand me downs ha. It became a problem when things like my car started to suggest my iPhone 6 was not a phone and couldn’t pick It up. Snide bastards

Mine is fine, what's the issue with yours?

Ha.

The nipper obviously wants the latest so they are always quite up to date - well only two years out of date.

But she always goes for girly colours.

The current one is white. The ones she's getting next and my next hand me down is going to be shocking pink.

Ive had mine about 5 years

Can have a GP9 for undrr 30

Hardly extravagant

but its still another grand, minus the 10er a month im paying sim only

Had 6pro for years, bullet proof.

  • 2 weeks later...

Dropped and cracked my 7 pro a few times so decided to get 10 Pro XL that comes out next month, 512gb rather than 256gb

Probably don't need it, but want it, definitely getting it insured this time

Works out about £40 a month over 2 years as claiming the vat back

Sending my 7 off to trade in but will be surprised if I get anything for it

Just been and got the GP10

£37 a month. 120GB data

Current phone is 4 years old

I am an I phone person

Use phone for calls and texts, odd photo.

going on line and that’s about it

are other phones ‘better’ and in what way ?

find I phone very easy to use but bet do not use half the functionality

I use iPhone too, because it's piss easy to use and links well with MacBook & iPad

CBA with phone snobbery or latest tech, think my phone is version 11 or 12 and they're up to about 17, I guess?
Might upgrade soon to 14-ish if I can get a bargain.

so I got a new Google Pixel 10 Pro XL

came in at £1,319, paying over 24 months

can knock off the VAT as well

but then got £100 credit for Google Store so got case, screen protector and charger, all good

said trade in your old phone

now it had 2 big cracks on the front screen

and I fell on my arse down some steps pissed with it in my back pocket, so half way down the back it was sort of snapped a bit

it still worked, but I thought it woudl be worthless but sent it off for trade in anyway, just to see

got email today saying they'll credit me back £298 for it

I'm pretty fucking amazed by that, I woudln't have expected £29.80

I hope you'd deleted whatsapp off it

you have to factory reset before you send it....

I chucked it at a brick wall too, just to be on the safe side

I’m still a bit worried

I've got a Pixel 8a. I had a 6a before that. I'm boring when it comes to getting a new Mobile. I don't do any homework or research. I just get one. I like the edit facility you get with my 8a for your photos and videos.
