  • I’m hoping people get off George Johnston’s back, now. Not for the first time, he was our best centre back last night, and is by far our best option at left centre back. I really like Inwood as a back

  • We have played 5 away games Stockport and today 2-0 Barnsley Orient and Blackpool 1-1 3 points from 5 games. So we need to change something not because I am tactical genius but because

No, Simons went to Right Back.

Ah He's gonna give me a heart attack

They’ve all turned up today thinking that alone was enough.

whether it’s Sheehan, erhahon or Morley, this squad applying themselves properly and professionally should skittle these men over no problem.

criticise the starting XI or the selection as much as you want but non of them have applied themselves

How he can bring Mctee on and expect anything game over

Yup would Erhahon made us more likely to put the ball in the net than Sheehan? That's where we've lost this game. Score when we're on top and everything is tickity boo.

WTF happened, went outside for 5 mins and we’re 2-0 down

Fucking useless leading in all the stats if you don't fucking score.

Story of our season so far. Wigan was a one off where we actually finished our chances.

Worries me this.

We do seem to struggle mightily to score, don't we ?

Trouble with Bolton ... everytime you think you're getting somewhere suddenly you're not.

It is the same issues we have seen far to often, not taking our chances and conceding from their first attempt. Keeper might have good distribution,  but his actual goal keeping is shit.

The Morely for Cogley sub was an awful decision

I appreciate the horses for courses approach, and think that's valuable at times.

At the same time, having just put in the best performance of the season, why bugger about with it?

If they are quite a direct side, then again, keeper the midfield the same.

Some mirror gazing required from the all today.

Today not one player gets any credit and the same goes for the manager

Baffling that sub.

Pointless change by SS after our performance last week. I’m sure Managers do it to look clever but it’s just not.

To be fair when you predicted a 3-0 win (not sure what that was based on?), you didn't say that if there was one change to the team we might lose.  A 5 goal swing is a lot to put on Sheehan.

Cogley was injured, and we don't have another Right Back on the bench. Simons dropped to Right Back.

SS as shot himself in the foot with this keeper needs to be replaced in Jan every other keeper we have come across this season as made decent saves to keep us out this guy is a liability

I might be wrong but I thought the commentator said he was injured.  We don't have a right back on the bench.

Not 1 Northampton player would get in our team. So, given that we have better players, who do we blame? The chances we miss and the goals we concede per sot are so damaging. The worry is, nothing seems to be changing in those stats.

Can we have Nobby Nolan as manager, they can have SS

Bring another defender on, change the formation,  have another defender on the bench. There were many better options than just dropping Simons into RB

Who said the front 6 best we’ve had for years? FFS! We’re shit one decent performance all season…and i ain’t impressed with Schumacher… he ain’t the man.

SS basically played a new midfield from the Wigan game as Simons was playing more advanced to accommodate Sheehan sitting deeper so he can make a few fancy pointless passes. And we got bummed in midfield today. Hard to build momentum like that.

The game and decisions has been Evatt esque.

It’s not sheehans fault per se, the whole balance of the team is different with him in it. He’s ideal in a situation of a low block and every man behind the ball constantly recycling it. He’s a sub a best, he does nothing else well.
Can’t tackle can’t head and just makes us weaker.

We need to be more robust away from home because the oweness is always on the home side to have a go. You’ve gotta match that effort first and play second and we seem to fail at this more often than not.

Even if burstow had scored, I’m not convinced we’d won this game
