  • I’m hoping people get off George Johnston’s back, now. Not for the first time, he was our best centre back last night, and is by far our best option at left centre back. I really like Inwood as a back

  • We have played 5 away games Stockport and today 2-0 Barnsley Orient and Blackpool 1-1 3 points from 5 games. So we need to change something not because I am tactical genius but because

  • Think it's been far from a shit start. I'd have it average with clear potential. It's a brand new set up, a brand new set of lads, it's very rare all that leads to instant success. I'd

Burstow scores when he’s got weeks with his chance then we win the game. We were shite, but we were still the better team and should have won.

That doesn't feel like much of an overwhelming positive.  So if we score from the opposition passing it to us for a free run at goal, we win 1-0?  So if that Northampton player had booted it into touch instead of passing to Burstow, we still wouldn't have won?  We have to be better than that surely, we can't only win away at a bottom half team if the opposition hand us an early goal.

But he hasn't improved us, as you have admitted. He might even be worse looking at his saves to shots performances to date. All I was saying is that it might have been wise to keep back one of the keepers we let go, rather than jump straight in with this guy and Miller as No2. That is all

I've never even suggested he's the answer so it's not really an admission

My whole point was the other two weren't good enough either

Yes, they were crap, formation played into our hands and they made some basic errors (some of that down to good pressing from us, to be fair). We took our chances and feasted on what they offered to us.

I wouldn’t have been too bothered with a draw today given our next two games. But this simply isn’t good enough.

Has to be 6 from 6 against Peterborough & Burton. Then it’s two huge games against top 6 sides.

Aye

They’re a bottom half team because they make mistakes like that that lead to our chance. 99/100 he scores and it’s unlikely we do anything other than win.

I’m not defending the performance or the result. It’s shit.

But the reaction is mental.

Anyway, I’m watching the Ryder cup and enjoying my Saturday. If others want to wallow in this result meaning we’re destined for another poor season in this league then feel free.

I'd argue (strongly) that both Baxter and Southwood were better than this guy who looks bobbins. Baxter not good enough?? Now playing in the Championship ffs..

You’ve judged him already. You said he’s not good enough.

You’ve mad your mind up and now won’t move from it. Just like you said Maghoma was bang average and looked pretty silly trying to stick to it rather than admitting you were wrong.

You’ll be wrong at the end of the season, but will find every opportunity through it to say you’re right.

I was talking about Burstow not Schumacher. I hope Schumacher turns it round and you are right.

I think the miss spurred Northampton on, we looked in control to that point, and the game seemed to turn as soon as he missed.  Had Burstow scored we may well have gone to get a couple more.

We can say that all we want, 3 goals away in 5 games, Northampton conceded 1 at home all season, folk saying we'll win 3-0 or whatever, and now if we'd scored 1 we'd have got 3?

I just feel like folk say stuff not based on reality.  Someone else said not one player on their team would get in our's, just not sure what its based on.  We've got a team of mainly L1 players, as Northampton have, yet all of our's are better than all of their's.

Miller needs the shirt against Peterborough

Apologies pal, just being a little mischievous. Just having a laugh - if you can after such an inept performance.

I don't care where he is now, he was shit for us and had a poor attitude

If TSL isn't up to it, give Miller a go

He was a clown against Wednesday but very good since

The meltdown after a loss is so predictable and boring. TSL is shite, Sheehan is shite, Schumacher is shite, Cogley is shite but he should have played on with an injury, our top scorer is shite. Get a grip you absolute fucking fannies.

Bad day at the office, it happens.

Exactly. Some will never be able to cope with it.

BWFC do get in the way of a relaxing weekend watching the Ryder Cup.  I watched it all yesterday, today its on in the background and the whites have taken the wind out of my sails.

I'm going for a pint, regrouping, clearing my head then settling down to watch the evening session on catch up.  A reminder today how BWFC can be a negative as well as a positive, no game this weekend would have done me nicely in hindsight.  Watching sport that is just for enjoyment and doesn't piss me off if it doesn't go our way, what a luxury!

Story of our season so far. Wigan was a one off where we actually finished our chances.

Not a one off as we beat Wimbledon before that

And surely we beat posh at home next week

Main issue is away from home it seems

Took a 96th minute wonder strike to get something at orient

We don't make our dominance count and score first

Subs made Evatt style again. Way too late. Glad Sheehan is off, slows everything down to a walking pace. Can't understand why Erahon was benched

The free kick we got just after half time 15 yards into Northamptons half which Sheehan played back to our defence sums Sheehan up.

Tidy player but slows the game right down and lets the opposition get back into position time and time again

Sharman-Lowe is far from our issue. It's our decision making in the opposition box.

I'd say he's part of the issue that whilst we restrict the opposition to very few chances, they still find a way to score

I think we would have won if we’d taken either of our early chances.

Is what we say say after most games

That has to be clamped down on by both the captain and manager.

Any cunt can pass a free kick backward, so no need for Sheehan if he's not going to use his abilities.

I thought we would kick on after last week

But yet again we shit the bed, far to inconsistent to think about promotion

So now goalies aren't allowed to make any mistakes. Love to know how anyone can think Miller is any better. He was shocking against Wednesday and since has played in two low key games in the Vertu Cup and had little to do.

No big panic from me

writing felt on the wall after Burstow miss.

The first sub felt crazy if you don’t double up with Erahaon for Sheehan.

TSL is a concern.

Burstow scores and it’s a big win for us. It’s a team game though and point 2 and 3 must be factored.

on to the next.

Any mistakes he hasn’t pulled a save off in the last ten games  above what anyone on here could do .
miller   might be as shit but I wouldn’t judge him off the Wednesday game alone he hadn’t played a game for 12 months and as actually pulled a few saves off that this keeper would of let sail past him .
No doubt he would be dropped if any of the   2 keepers from last season were still here .
looks like SS as dropped a bollock it looks a down grade up to now
