If you play several hours a day for five or six months, and can't be getting 9, 10 or 11 dart finishes, then you must have special needs. 

It's not a sport, but fair play to Sky for tricking folk into thinking it's a some sort of competitive event..

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If I could be arsed, a few months practice, and I'd win it. Save as anybody else in here who isn't blind

My eldest has played darts for years now and has only won a few local competitions, he clearly needs to try harder!

Luke Littler literally won the title with a 147 finish tonight and I assure you it was more exciting than every snooker game ever played

That checkout to finish it was proper icing on cake stuff, brilliant. Van Veen played well early doors but he just kept going up a gear set by set. 

His use of all the board has no current comparison

Thought last nights final was poor and boring. Boring because of how good Littler is and poor because Van Veen just couldn't cope.

It was like watching Man City thump Wolves.

A great tournament overall. Just a shame one person wins pretty much everything now.

John Mcdonald will be missed hugely.
