Well that was utterly brilliant  Safe to say that 6-7 yrs was the greatest period of my life following this football club of ours. I would live it all again in a heartbeat and not take a second o

Some amazing times. He was so good. I don’t think time has made people see it (certainly BWFC people) we always knew.

Was gutted when he left. We live in hope but I don’t think the team will get that high again, certainly in my life time

That was amazing but to see the impact he had on Okocha and Youri and the fact they gave so much time to the documentary speaks volumes about the respect he gained from the world class players

Just think of the names who weren't on it - Campo, Jussi, Bruno etc........that could have been 10 hours long and I wouldn't have been bored for a single second

Was hoping Ivan might have been on it.

That was amazing really enjoyable watch, going to bed on a Sunday night with a smile on my face tonight

Look how much it all meant to them as well. Think Sam was shedding a tear at the end there too.

Same as @Kane57 could have done 10 hours of that 😀

Jussi doesn't half get overlooked in 00s PL talk by the way, the man was a legend!

I still argue with my mates that pound for pound he's the best signing in Premier League history. £100k for over 500 games through the good and the bad times. What a signing he was.

I can't believe nobody ever came in for him that we know of, especially with the kind of trouble the likes of United and Liverpool had with keepers around that time.

Really enjoyed that. Must have been a while in the making given Phil Brown left Kidderminster 9 months ago!

For all the talk that Davies never got a proper goodbye, Ricardo Gardner should have been given the keys to the place.

Virtually no mention of Jussi was certainly an odd one. Can’t even say it’s because he was a Todd signing, because so was Gardner.

I think it’s taken him a while, but I think Allardyce realises now that he jumped too soon. He was never going to get such autonomy anywhere else. Probably about the same time as it’s taken for me to finally let it go that he said he left to have a rest and then pitched up at Newcastle.

The breadth of the expertise we sought from the sporting world was insane

Sending our communications officer to the Dallas Mavericks, having Michael Jordan's psychologist give a talk to the players, Kevin Nolan speaking to Graeme Smith about the challenges of being a young captain

I also enjoyed the snippets about paying £6,000 per month to import the gas for the cryotherapy machine from the Czech Republic, "the war room", Sam having Roy Keane round his house for three hours when he was leaving United, Sam travelling to Pep's house to have a conversation about his potential signing

I wish he'd have stayed, of course, but the Premier League was changing and did we have the finances to maintain our success, never mind improve upon it? Probably not, but it was one hell of a ride regardless.

I'd like to have a pint with Mike Whitlow

He looks about 65! Then again when we signed him he was a proper throwback

Would never have him down as a former Premier League footballer!

Any idea how many we took to Birmingham the night Nolan scored? Looked about 5 people there at the front

You can imagine how sceptical he must have been initially, and you always expected he’d not get a game in the Prem etc but for a spell him, Barness and Charlton were incredible.

It always struck me as a bit odd that he didn’t push for the training ground to be completely redeveloped and more work with the academy, particularly as Nolan and Hunt were probably the last bona fide academy products we had.

The free transfer model was never going to last forever, but you’d have thought he’d have seen out that particular season just to see how far we’d actually get.

I loved Simon Charlton, he was absolutely rock solid and when I was working at Axfords he was a regular customer and used to tell us all the behind the scenes gossip

I remember he was left out of the squad over Christmas at one point, and there were strong rumours United were after him

PS. He'd struggle to making a living now, cos he was absolutely terrible with his feet :D

Just got back from the back of beyond late last night but still got up at sparrow fart to watch it this morning.

Absolutely brilliant. No doubt there are still those around who would use derogatory terms about the big man. Not me.

Right man in the right place at the right time. He's right up there at the very peak of BWFC legends for me with names like Foweraker, Lofthouse and Ridding.

We bumped into him on a walk around Munich and he was devastated not to have played that day. I genuinely think he loved it here. Same with Stelios who turned down City and Liverpool whilst playing for us.

It was a wonderful, emotional couple of hours. Touching how much they all still regard him, and how strong the family feel was that so many are still in touch and are lifelong friends.

Have seen us through many up and down periods down the decades but those years were by far the best

A good point about right place and right time

It wouldn't have been possible if we hadn't moved from Burnden Park a couple of years before

Enjoyed that. Some amazing memories there along with a few shite ones. Made me realise how many times we lost really big games in his early days. But it made our promotions, etc so good

Ferguson definitely going in my Celebrity Deadpool 2027 prediction

Brilliant film and many happy memories, including Bourgas, Guimaraes and Marseille, which weren’t really covered in the film.

However, is that the (quite a few years later) post-Allardyce academy that produced the England internationals Rob Holding and Aaron Ramsdale?

I’d also question if Lostock is worse then Euxton?
