Are they so focused on whatever they've been practising on preparation, that they're scared to try and pass it?

It favours a fucking beach. It's the worst pitch I've seen for a long time. They should be embarrassed at having such a wank pitch. Doesn't excuse the shite performance but the pitch is atrocious.

Don’t think the defending was that good for the goal .
keeper would have had to be nearly on the half way line to get near that going of the replay why did we only have one player back defending

Yes it was . However winning the battles isnt as easy as all that Dempsey shoved over at least 4 times right in front of the ref with nothing given . if ever there was a game where the pitch is a leveller its this . 

Got to shoot on site and play for corners free kicks . 

What winds me up is that we dont leave a man uptop when defending and other teams do and have grabbed 3 goals in the last 3 matches.
