Pitches like this, & much worse, spawned the likes of Best, Law, Charlton. Summerbee, Brady, Stapleton, Hoddle, Perryman, le Tissier & hundreds more.

It can be played on but needs a bit of nouse. If you walked on to a chorus of 'this is unplayable' you'll come to believe it. It's not ideal but you can play on it.

Ref is a total shit house but we are not at the races and on our way to 2pts from the last 9 available against three poor teams who have watched the videos and how to rough it up. Seems the same every season. The belief seems to have gone again

He's been shoehorned there as a sort of wing back. On a good day he can cope but it's not his position.

This must be our 5th season of fvkg about with that theory, & it's bullshit.

A proper side, one with aims of promotion put in performances week in week out against top middle or bottom of the table, in any ground, in any conditions and on any pitch. Carpet, beach, wide, narrow it doesn’t matter. It’s the mindset, application and attitude that wins out in the end.
