When people say season ending injury that usually means something severe. But our season ends in 15 days regardless of what happens.

I don't think it'd be totally farfetched for him to have woken up sore on Sunday, had a scan and be out for three weeks.

The club and Marc Iles are fully aware that this has been a big talking point all week and have deliberately avoided talking directly about Kenny. So either way they don't want people to know if he's fit or not.

The only thing that makes me think it's more likely to be true, is that from what I remember the Simons/Erhahon injury started out as an online rumour, then they were both missing from the squad at Plymouth and SS confirmed afterwards that they'd been out all week and would be missing for the foreseeable.

Equally he also said he stuck ACD on the bench against Stockport to give the fans a boost before kick off. So maybe you could say he's got form either way.

I get SS will not want to give team details away but putting a dampener on things at 6:45 is surely not what we need ? Whereas if the team includes Dalby and Kenny it lifts things just before kick off. So I am hoping the rumours are an elaborate smoke screen. 

There’s no good way or right time to announce bad news.

There’s a valid argument that announcing at the time would have created a week long negative debate, it would have showed our hand and disappointment to Bradford and they could have prepared accordingly. 

Importantly, from a team/squad perspective they will have dealt and come to terms with this early in the week. This will be well out of their minds now. 

For the fans, come 6:45 there’ll be a bit of “fucking hell the rumours were right, that’s a shitter etc” but not one of us is going to go into that stadium any less passionate and vociferous. 

Regardless of who is playing the stadium is going to be bouncing at 8pm

CBT isn't out of contract at Derby and has done the same. His season ended in March.

Talking with any kind of certainty about this stuff is daft. We'll all find out at 6.45pm.

Quite surprised if you can still buy tickets after about 12 today (at the ground).

It would encourage Bradford fans to give it a go, in the past (pre-memberships), all ticket/full away end games were always no ticket sales on the day of the game.

I think you're right in that SS will avoid changing formation or moving players out of the positions they've played recently.

So I'd predict the same team, except my completely uneducated guess is that the uplifting team news will be Sam Dalby starting.
