Bradford Home - 1st Leg Saturday 9th May

Same process as before - you can secure your own seats.

Need to put yesterday’s disappointment behind us and fill the place.

Let’s take a good lead over to Bradford.

On the piss in the afternoon prior to an 8pm kick-off on a Saturday, should make it a belting atmosphere under the lights.

COYFWM 👏

Johnston gets a lot of shit, he was great tonight and clearly really fired up for it. The right attitude for the next two games.

20k if you add away fans

Wow. Could be on for less than 20,000 here. Wonder why?

I reckon we'll shift about 22k-23k in total by Saturday

Because it's always a good idea to let the opposition know your weaknesses before a battle, isn't it?

8pm KO on a Sat night on telly.

Touch of anti-climax with playing home first.

Missing a good 1500 away fans.

Folk are skint and keeping their powder dry incase we make it.

All possible factors.

Plus we are missing the shit loads of kids season tickets that don't get used a lot but add to weekly attendances

8pm on Saturday nights are what dreams are made of. 2 years ago we had 26000 or so on a Wednesday

Are people really reluctant to give up a Saturday night to watch their team in the playoffs?

It's coz I'm not going to be there.

No Frank, No party!

It's obviously not put me off but it's a pretty wank kick off time tbf, hence it's quite rare across the pyramid bar the odd Prem game nowadays.

It's got a lot of pissed people written all over it :D

You can be pissed off but now’s not really the time to be voting with your feet. It’s not an ideal KO time but how many actually are these days? I find it baffling take up hasn’t been as Brisk. It’ll be the final chance for many to back them

The timing is stopping me getting pissed, as it's a ballache for me to get home at that time of night, if I'm not sober.

People would be moaning if it was a 12.30 kick off too because they'd still be hungover from the night before.

Personally really struggling to find the big issue with a 8pm kick off on a Saturday night.

Okay its not 5 hours earlier, but it's the play offs. Just look at the 2nd leg, which is on a Thursday night.

Under the lights on a Saturday night with the chance of having one foot in Wembley depending on the result.

I saw a comment in the dark depths of Facebook (god forbid) and somebody's excuse was that Britain's Got Talent semis was on TV 😂

Exactly this for me. I'm still going, but it'll be a sober car journey, which will put a good few off. Hard to do late nights at an out of town stadium once the public transport stops

It was 24.5k v Barnsley, and it was a 2nd leg with virtually guaranteed Wembley celebrations at the end of it.

And just a guess, but if a couple of thousand can't make it because of pre-arranged nights out - birthday do's, tickets for concerts, weekend away booked, that's perfectly normal.  2 years ago we knew well in advance we'd be playing our 2nd leg at home, nobody was expecting it this time.

If its going to be an evening kick off, I'd agree Saturday is the best one.  Hull-Millwall is Friday and Chesterfield v Notts is Sunday at 6pm - both of those are worse.

Boro v Southampton 12.30 Saturday not the best either for generating atmosphere as we know.

I must admit it will be my most sober Saturday night since I was in hospital over a year ago 😀

I ordered 8 tickets in South Lower for weekend, got an email at 4pm saying that the tickets I bought were no longer available.

Was on row E but moved back to row J, apparently something to do with putting 'extra safety netting' in place.

Still not sure where to sit… fancy a wing for a change

Not sure pal, I presume the front rows of the upper will be to limit that issue but can't understand why the lower would be? I think they are just leaving that 1 half for now and will open it if needs be come Saturday.

Bussing in some migrants for free to boost the attendance
