Wonder if this is moved to ours as Hillsborough works likely not to be done in time

What they doing to it? I shan't be denied Kelham Island!

Just looked at September and October.

Gulp....

Reality hit home. We need players.. (Many of them)

Yes, it brings it home when we're probably all looking at the 4 Cardiff and Lincoln fixtures thinking "they're the main one's to target" and 2 months ago they were the only fixtures on our schedule that we were happy to put in the unwinnable/a draw is good category.

And we currently have a significantly weaker squad than we had when we played them.

The international weekends are never less than shit, other than for potentially booking holidays and other stuff, but its great that we officially have no fixtures in those weeks. No need for all the usual discussion on how many players need to be called up for either team before we know whether we can plan for playing Stevenage.

And 9th of Jan is FA Cup 3rd round day. That's round 3 (three) - with us in it.

Not Peterboro away but it might be off if either of us win 2 cup games.

Done us dirty with a few of those midweekers

Yeah I'm annoyed with Sheffield United and Wolves home and away being midweekers. Was looking forward to those and now might not go to any.

West Ham too, although just the home leg, the away might now actually be possible with a strategic work trip...

And the Saturday ones that are ok will get fucked about by sky

First competitive game for Wednesday so it may also be for Rico.

Yes with no Easter games its a minimum two extra midweek games than we should have had.

Those Sheff U, Wolves and West Ham games looked nailed on "sold out" games, now they could be half empty in home and away ends.

No EFL trophy means at least three fewer. Swings and roundabouts.

Quite a few of these midweeks are going to require some creative thinking with work! Shame weve lost a couple of the London ones from weekends especially.

Swansea away on a Tuesday night in December is a real test 😂

I just meant midweek league games, as in 2 extra midweek games means two less 3pm KOs.

And 2 more games with a load of empty seats than it needs to be.

But yes a timely reminder of the joy of no EFL trophy games. (And no false scoring stats where those games get counted in players goals per games ratios)

Super fixture list. Feels a little bit big time.

Looks so much better doesn't it. Even though I must admit I have enjoyed adding new little grounds to my list over the past couple years, burton, orient,Wimbledon,Crawley, but we have now done more than our fair share with that lot and I,m now chomping at the bit for qpr first away.

As I side note to that, Loftus road was Jay Jay and was it mendys debut but who was it against ?

Aye. Memory recalls a game of football breaking out between 2 pubs on a corner , loads of Bolton outside both pubs, yet I couldn't remember who we played !

things you randomly remember

lots of Japanese fans in the home end who'd come to watch Inamoto, every time he got he ball loads of camera flashes and a collective Japenese sounding "woah" from down the sides

it was also the day they found the body of the girls murdered by Ian Huntley

Ended up 4-1 didn't it ?

I think we even took the lead.

Could be wrong like, long time ago.

Jay Jay had an absolute mare that game. I was wondering why we'd signed him. How wrong was I.

Reserved an £89 Ibis on an industrial estate for Swansea. Wasn’t going to bother with Pompey but 2 nights in the Best Western at Gunwharf Quay for £70 has changed my mind. Who said romance was dead?
