Why the fuck do you doubt what people say, you have done this on a couple of occasions and you have been proved wrong, stop being a childish little keyboard warrior and grow the fuck up. You asked me last week why I posted something about you from many years ago, it was to show you are still the argumentative little keyboard warrior you were them, no change except your age, Firthy

I've not noticed anyone in the media pointing out that the majority of the new Cabinet are women (12-11).

I doubt what you say because you continually claim "I'm not interested in politics and don't like Reform", yet you continuously post Reform talking points on threads about politics. 🤷‍♂️

He was advocating for a benign dictatorship last week. This week he's turned into Michael Foot 😉

Don't be silly FFS. Even more importantly, don't encourage an imbecile incapable of placing a cross in a box with a choice of only two.

I will be raising these unfair comparisons at the next branch meeting of the Fabian Society I attend.

Rachel gone, good riddance. Healey in, good appointment.

Miliband Foreign Secretary, good appointment. Keeps him away from the money.

Was travelling when all this was going down. Have to agree with all of this. An apparent good start.

Unfortunately he seems to have started by bumping anyone who was loyal to previous PM. Not a good start IMO.

But we are not surprised are we? Just look at the absolute fucking idiots Starmer surrounded himself with in the Self Preservation Stakes.

No time for anything red but I would say that Burnham has made a good start so far. Ditch the dullards.

I could go with this.

Getting fucking worrying is this.

can't doubt he's carefully doing what he feels is right.

The movement of power away from London is a masterclass. Civil servants moving up north for cheaper and allowing the jobs to become more achievable for people across the country.

That was a Gordon Brown plan iirc, build a civil service hub next to Manchester Piccadilly and do similar to the beeb did with media city.

Nothing like some loyal support from the site labour rep 😆 what are you basing your statement on? He’s not even been in a day yet and you’re saying someone who many have said is the worst PM ever being better than the one who’s been in a few hours.

Based on the fact he has two years. It'll be some turnaround if he wins a mandate of his own.

Sadly, i think that since Brexit this country has been divided too long, Labour got in because of the mess of the Conservatives, with a wide but not deep majority, so MPs are twitchy. Reform might be doing their best to implode at the moment, but two years simply isnt long enough to really instigate meaningful change; so it'll most likely be a hung parliment, more short termism and further churn of leaders.

Calmness and longtermism would be better all round but that sadly is in very short supply.

You're literally replying to me in a thread about politics, and you quite often post in the actual 'Politics' thread.
