Smiley Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 what was he doing for both goals? I cannot believe how easy Roberts turned him for the first. And then for the second, he seemed to watch the ball bounce in front of him, and stood still as Roberts picked it up and ran past him to score. The guy is a liability! Get rid!
richbwfc Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 I always worry whenever I see his name on the teamsheet...

Mr Softee Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 I wonder whether Sam actually sent them out to win bearing in mind the semi's are in January when the ANC is on. There was no fight or passion in them tonight. Nolan looked very slow. Funny coming out of the car park when one of the coaches scraped a car down the side.
HomerJay Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Jaidi, fine defending most stuff aerial, but get it down, play round him and he's fucked...
White79 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 He's awful, and Sam cannot persist in using him. His individual errors have cost us 4 goals in 3 games. We need a replacment quickley. Wish we'd cashed in on him to Boro now! Hindsights a b*std
Widnes Two Hats Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 I think we should put a tyre round his neck and give him a Christmas necklace Missed both goals by the way so no idea who's fault it was, I had my own bar downstairs which was more appealing
Tony Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Jaidi as a player has a poor touch, no positional sense and has the worst distribution in the whole squad. He is not a premiership player But the worst thing about last night was the way for the second time we have been well beaten by a team that had pace, played with width and kept the ball on the ground. Our tactical response was poor. The man with the biggest head in football had a plan B, kick it up to Davies. If more managers played like Jewell and less like Allardyce then the premiership might be as entertaining as it is claimed to be (and might even be worth the money). People who question the atmostphere at the Reebok and our away following are in denial. We play the worst style of football in the premiership. I have seen twelve games this season and most of them have been utter shite. When the game has been good the atmostphere has been good.
HomerJay Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 i dont have a problem with the way we play 90% of the time, because its successfull and gets results... but i do think we should have a plan B for time when it isnt working... the most disturbing thing is how uncomfortable our players are on the ball, and the lack of passing ability on the floor when needed... but then again do arsenal have a plan B, they play totally opposite to us and pass pass pass, sometimes it just doesnt work...
exiledwhite2 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 I don't care a fig about our style of play as long as we are successful I'd rather watch us in the Premier and in Europe than watch us play 'nice football' at Gresty Road This team with 'pace and width' are below us in the league and IMO will finish well below us once the reality of top flight football takes hold

dioufy_junior Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Jaidi is utter shite, he cost us at fulham and he cost us tonight and he should of scored aswell
Sweep Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 As things stand we don't really have another option, as we know that Bruno can't play every game at his age. I hope that we re-enforce this position in January. Bob Huth would be nice on loan

I hope that we re-enforce this position in January. Bob Huth would be nice on loan Now he would be a nice replacement. Huth for 6 months on loan is good cover/competition for Tel Ben and Bruno. There are not many decent centre backs willing to move for 6 months but I am sure he would love a chance of 1st team football instead of Chelsea reserves :D/ Jaidi is good in the air but thats about it. This may be time to cash in on him.
HomerJay Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Jaidi is good in the air but thats about it. This may be time to cash in on him. be lucky to get 1m i reckon..

BUT, we deffo need a Plan B if like last night it just isn't working for us.
Happy Wanderer Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 He can move quick for a big fella, but not quick enough for the Premiership. His ability in the air is sound, but defending on the floor is poor do to lack of speed and mobility. He is a squad player at the best, but when others are fit he will start most games on the bench. I'm sure Big Sam know this and it makes you wonder why he played him against a pacey striker like Roberts

Casino should be the next Bolton Manager point being, we've played worse than we did last night and won games the defending was substandard, and at least jaidi and vaz te should have scored
RiCcI Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 ille probably get some stick for this but hey... the truth hurts, this is preety much the second bad game out of 10/12 games (fulham and now wigan) we havant got the squad that UTD chelsea or even spurs have, therefor we arnt gonna proform top level week in week out, dont forget this is the 3rd game the boys have played in 6 days is it (correct me on that if im wrong) but my point is, we are in the last 32 of the uefa cup, we are 5th in the prem, and also still in the FA cup, so give the lads a break, they aint doin so bad
