For me we were worse last night than at City. Hands down.

Didn't see it Jules but the reports I've read all say we dominated?

Jason Roberts even said we were the better team other than ten minutes end of first half...

but like I say I didn't see it, if you think we were that bad, I'll accept that

Wigan were the best team by quite a way. We had a lack of ideas and our passing was very, very poor. I don't believe we were playing against a team that was that good either - hence our creating 2 chances (both form balls into the box that their defence muddled) whilst still playing terribly.

I do also agree with whoever said that also nothing bounced right for us.

At City we were poor, but alot more resilient against a side much better than the one Wigan put out last night.

However, bad night in the office is over (and thankfully wasn't in the league); let's learn from it, move on and try and get 4pts versus the Mackems and Munchen...

Do you think that we'll only get a draw against Sunderland then :D

RE: Jaidi

The jury was out last season but there's no denying he scored some valuable goals

BUT

Has been comprehensively found out this term by teams with sharp pacey strikers. . . just as a thought I wonder how he would get better in training with the players we have got too . . .

I'm sorry to say with a gaping weakness like that I think his Premiership career will be over fairly soon. I hope he proves me wrong cos he probably got a good contract at the start of the season and it might be money down the grid!

We'll get beat by Sunderland.

We were bad last night... no doubt but not terrible. Jaidi turns slower than the queen mary and cost us two goals with his clumsyness on the deck. Nakata looked lightweight and lost in the middle of the park but we still had at least three glaring misses where it was harder to miss than score (ok pollitt's save was good but Vaz should have burst the net)

On another night we would have got at least two goals and would still have been in the game. It wasn't as bad as some doom merchants are painting it, just not the standard we have set this season.

To me, Nakata is a player that you have to build the team around. We won't be doing that anytime soon so I can't see a long term future for him at the Reebok.

Shame because he is a sumptious passer of the ball but he doesn't seem to quite know what his job is...which is unusual for one of Sam's players.

Talking of Nakata; once or twice there was definately a lack of understanding during some neat bits of inter play. Usually ending up with Nakata wrongfooting himself!

Jaidi was poor on Tuesday but let's not forget that at Everton he was as good as anyone else on the pitch.

Jaidi was great at everton when high balls are played into the box.

When it is on the floor then it is a different ball game.

He cost us the game at fulham and wigan - and thats for starters.

I thought Nakata was quite ineffective and apart from a few games around City away (when he was excellent) I feel he has been an also ran against some poorer midfields.

Jaidi also missed a routine header for Fulham's 2nd goal.

I'd like to see clean sheet stats with N'Gotty & Ben Haim as CB's rather than when Jaidi plays.

Once had a debate with 4_characters_minimum on Rivals 8-[ about the merits of Jaidi. The gimp reckoned he was a better defender than N'Gotty.

Jaidi had a bit of a shocker..

BUT let's not forget the appalling tackle that led to the second goal 20 yrds from Wigans goal.. Ricardo Garbage sticking his toe in like a 3 year old in bath of hot water..

Wigan games was piss poor, but Jaidi was exposed by chronic defending leaving him the last man.

he should ahve cleared the 2nd, granted, but I'd have dragged garnder down the tunnel aftre that pathetic 'toe-poke' of a challenge.

we lost on tuesday cos we have no width, we didn't string 3 passes together and Vaz Te SHOULD have buried that attempt.

Gardner has been arguably our best player in recent weeks!

may well have been, but his bollocks of a tackle led to the goal.

from their 18yd box to the back of our net in about 10 secs. Schoolboy stuff

Jaidi as a player has a poor touch, no positional sense and has the worst distribution in the whole squad. He is not a premiership player

But the worst thing about last night was the way for the second time we have been well beaten by a team that had pace, played with width and kept the ball on the ground.

Our tactical response was poor. The man with the biggest head in football had a plan B, kick it up to Davies.

If more managers played like Jewell and less like Allardyce then the premiership might be as entertaining as it is claimed to be (and might even be worth the money).

People who question the atmostphere at the Reebok and our away following are in denial. We play the worst style of football in the premiership. I have seen twelve games this season and most of them have been utter shite. When the game has been good the atmostphere has been good.

have to agree with you tony, i would rather see us trying to play more football, west ham and wigan have just got promoted and have worse players than us yet there manager has the bottle to try and get it down and play football, it has got to the point where i am not looking forward to watching bolton games.

wigan and west ham look pretty mediocore to me....

plus its their 1st season, most of there players are still playin on adrenaline, next season we will see if they really are any good!

but we are above them in the league

think i've become numb towards our style of play after 5 years of being induced into a coma week in week out, but I much prefer to be up there in the league as a result of our style

when we do put in a good performance, consider it a bonus
