jimmyjoojar Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I know of 5 or 6 people who would have gone tonight if the whites had shown an ounce of fight on saturday. The fact is we let our heads drop and called it a day as soon as their second goal went it. Was as disappointed as i have been in a while. Didn't expect a win aganist Chelsea but i expect the team to ragging put some effort in and not give up. Usually the fight and passion are there, but going on the last few games even that has gone missing. Fingers crossed we scrap a result tonight and put this run to bed.

jimmyjoojar Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Of course, lots of fake plastic whites. But was merely saying i knew why some had decided to give it a miss. Either way, it would still be a shit turn out if we had won against Chelsea. Away supports of all clubs are suffering, travelling fans are a dying breed.
Casino Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 poor excuse for me.. it isn't just tonight our supports poor.. its shocking.. makes my stomach turn remembering the whining over lack of tickets.. unloyal.....FACT i do my share of away games not shelling out 50 quid when i can watch it at home those days are gone

Smiffs Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 All the more reason for handing out vouchers for games like these.
Casino Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 All the more reason for handing out vouchers for games like these. they do and they'll probably ask for them against spurs if tonight is the only game you've missed, you're in the melee with all the one game a season wonders

A voucher for games like these should be held for big games in the next 12 months, similar to City's points scheme, not just to get tickets for a match a week next thursday or whenever. anyway, its boring subject which will never be resolved so f??ck it.
