dirty barsteward Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Another friendly to look forward to.... :D/ http://www.az-alkmaar.nl/
Carlos Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 As the KO time is given in English time, I fear it's at home. Shame. Still, top class oppo.
Sweep Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 would have been a corking away day though wouldn't it
potter tours Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Looks like the game is away. The article mentions DSB Stadion which I assume AZ67 play at.
Carlos Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 AZ's stadium held about 3 men and a dog, which is why Boro only got about 400 tickets for their UEFA Cup clash. I assume they've got a new one, seems Arsenal are playing there.
Sweep Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Just checked it out, they have the same stadium as last year, and the capacity is a whopping 8400

Whites man Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Bastard finding your way around though - buying an A-Z is a must No need for an A-Z, there's only one street you need to walk up and down
brixton Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 If this game is at the Reebok there will be less than 4000 on, we will take more than that if its away.

Carlos Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...nal/5247372.stm 3-0 Arsenal.
Juan.Kerr Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 According to th'Evening News posters in some pubs - including Athy Arms I think, it's at home 2:00pm kick off after a "Family Fun Day". Holt's bitter had kicked in when I saw it, so I am prepared to be shot down.
Guest Biff Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 According to the posters it is advertised as a FREE fun day followed by a match v AZ Alkmaar. Why are they charging for tickets for the match? Just go to the fun day and stay.

Why are they charging for tickets for the match? Just go to the fun day and stay. i agree biff, it is a friendly it should be free, would it not be better to get 20,000 on instead of the 3000 who will actually attend.
