FROM NEWSNOW WEBSITE LETS HOPE ITS TRUE http://football.guardian.co.uk/breakingnew...6026965,00.html I have heard so many "definitely signing tomorrow" quotes this close season to make me sceptical of anything I read. Hope it's true though... he is a class player
dannyc2 Posted August 20, 2006 Author Posted August 20, 2006 I HOPE ITS TRUE TOO FUNNY THOUGH HOW ALLARDYCE HAS STATED ON BWFC WEBSITE THAT HE WOULD CHANGE FORMATION FOR A TOP STRIKER??

Guest Yolas Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 (edited) I read on Turkish web sites that Anelka signed a 4 year deal with Bolton. As a Fenerbah??e fan, I'm so happy to have got of rid Anelka. And what's more we bought him for 9 million euros and sold for 12 M. Edited August 20, 2006 by Yolas

Burndens Bogs Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 (edited) Can't believe some people are actually excited about this Turkey. Edited August 20, 2006 by Burndens Bogs
forever white Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 I too dont believe 12 million euros . The only way I think is with many clauses attached and a long payment option. If we do get him i feel we will have our strikeforce sewn up . Heres to bolsering up the squad
xxxxxx Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 I also hope we get Saviola for 3 million pounds. Saviola and Anelka upfront together - what a partnership that would be.
BWFC = Priceless Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Firstly i think if we get Anelka he should then go for Nugent because that would be a World Class partnership and secondly how much is 9million euros in pounds because i don't know.
Smiley Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 12m Euros is around ??8.5m Same price we were willing to spend on Andy Johnson (who is only 2 years younger).

I personally feel we wont need to buy another striker if Anelka signs. I think with anelkas pace and Davies as a target man this is an ideal conbination. Lets spend the rest (if there is any) on Sorin or somebody in the mould of malbranque

I think with anelkas pace and Davies as a target man this is an ideal conbination. Lets spend the rest (if there is any) on Sorin or somebody in the mould of malbranque Bordeaux are after Sorin now for ??1.5 million. Surely we should get back in there and try and wrap it up? As for Anelka, should hopefully turn out to be a cracking signing. This is probably his last proper chance in the premiership. If he sulks again he's going to become untouchable so that should hopefully give him the kick up the arse he needs. If this does get completed in the next few days then its credit to Sam for not panicking and waiting for the right deal.
Carlos Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Does seem a waste of talent. Fulham want at least ??5M back for him, which they paid 5 years ago. Which is fair enough. No, it means a club would be paying ??100,000 a week + wages for a player who isn't THAT good. Asking ??5m is utterly ridic.
ROSSENDALEWHITE Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 looking good now just said on sky sports anelka has agreed to sign a 4 year deal with bolton.
Andybwfc Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 looking good now just said on sky sports anelka has agreed to sign a 4 year deal with bolton. ....and Gartside as a fax in his pocket to say he's signed also
newquaywhite Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 KIN ELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can see the potential in this er......potential signing, but....my god.... Can you imagine spitty and sulky on a night out at j2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hands full for BSA, As i said yesterday, i thought spitty showed good heart and temperment this week, i dont want to see him upset, by some frog eating journeyman. BUt, it could just work....just...... Personaly id rather give vaz te a seasons worth of chances not to fall rather than sign Anelka but..... Second thoughts, As far as i can see, anyone how comes to us has to commit to our training regime.....which is apprenlty like going to boot camp. If Anelka did.......and actualy tried.....then ill shhhhhhhhhhhhhh
white noise Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Watched premiership years on Sky on Friday, Anelka scored a hat trick for Citeh, reminded me of what a good player he can be. How many Bolton players score hat tricks?

mummywhycantieatcrayons Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Anything more than ??6million is too much money for Anelka.
BWFCOLINH58 Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 hes crap............... but if he signs, he will get my full backing.
BWFC = Priceless Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Whichever club he has joined he has always done one thing and that is to score goals and he finnishes of moves and we need someone like that to take us to the next level.
