good signing will be interesting to see where he will fit into are midfield

Cracking player when fit.

We have a lot of strength in that attacking midfield position with Tal, Teymourian, Nolan - even Stelios when desperate.

But only just turned 27, has a lot to prove, our backroom team will get him as fit as possible, this could be an excellent deal. He went to Brum in a big money deal so wages might be an issue - we will probably be offering a substantial wage reduction.

Now lets sign a couple of defenders....

Looks like we might get dhorasoo as well.

"Fulham expect to pip Bolton to the signature of Vikash Dhorasoo. The controversial India-born midfielder, 33, who was sacked by Paris St Germain after a row with coach Bernard Lacombe, was at Craven Cottage yesterday to discuss terms on a free transfer and a two-year deal."

- from bottom of the page of your link.

How was i to know that, I'm illiterate.

they havent learnt from Fortune.

Where has it been printed about Dunn signing - cant find anything on the web!?

I hope it's not true. Dunn has played 46 league games in THREE AND A HALF seasons with Brum, he's a fcuking sick note who enjoys a bit of ill health - leave well alone imo.

Bolton Wanderers have agreed a ??1m deal with Birmingham for midfielder David Dunn. The 27-year-old underwent a medical at the Reebok Stadium on Thursday evening and could be unveiled at a press conference on Friday.

Dunn, signed from Blackburn for ??5.5million three and a half years ago, has long favoured a move back to the north west to allow him to be closer to his daughter and family.

The former England Under-21 captain has been dogged by injuries during his time at St Andrews, making just 53 starts in three and a half seasons.

The move has helped Birmingham manager Steve Bruce finance a ??2.5m move for Luton Town's prolific striker Rowan Vine.

Hope I'm wrong, but he's Fortune Mk II.

As much as he's a beltin player when he is fit...I can't help but agree

Sure Sam sees it as a gamble though, if he can get him fit good, if not, fcuk him off

He'll have a pay as you play element in his contract hopefully

Birmingham boss Steve Bruce has insisted David Dunn's impending ??1million switch to Bolton is "amicable".

Dunn is on the verge of joining the Trotters for a cut-price ??1million - a huge loss on the ??5.5 million Bruce paid Blackburn in the summer of 2003.

He was at his best during his first six months at the club when the Blues were in the top six of the Premiership.

But hamstring and back problems limited him to a handful of appearances after that and now Bruce believes Dunn will benefit from a fresh challenge.

He said: "David Dunn is fit and it might be in the best interests of both parties if something happens.

"He has problems with his family life up north. That is genuine, so it might be in both our interests that I get a few quid in, spend it on someone else and then off we go again.

"It will be an amicable goodbye. As long as I get the money I am looking for, it will be amicable!

"It's a shame Dunny has had so many injury problems here because he is a special player, someone who is part of a dying breed, and in his first few months here you saw the influence he can have on a team.

"If people like Dunny, Mikael Forssell, Muzzy Izzet and Matthew Upson had stayed fit last season, we would have been a far better team and I am convinced we would have stayed in the Premiership.

"The club has spent millions on Dunny, buying him, trying to get him right, trying to get him on the pitch. He is also a decent wage earner. A change of scenery might do him good."

Amicable? I'll bet!

There must be something wrong with the training or something at some of these clubs, though, surely?

Places like Newcastle and Birmingham have virtually a full side at death's door all the time and it can't just be down to bad luck.

If we can get him - and keep him - fit then we'll have signed a very good footballer for next to nothing.

Failing that, at least our Munich will have a bit of company.

Daft as a brush Great Harwood lad. 100% Roverrs (the thick red ginger).

Not a bad signing - if he stays fit...

...but as I mentioned earlier in the week: we had a totally changed midfield at Doncaster last weekend and the lads that came in showed that we have good strength in depth in this department already.

Where and when Dunn is going to play I have no idea.

I don't think we should get too carried away about beating Doncaster.

Does no one else just keep having that image of him falling over the ball when trying to attempt a bit of showboating? Just me then?

Looks a right fat kunt! Campo's Pizza Hut partner may be??

Perhaps we can get him fit for the start of next season.

dont make it fair

Bad signing, not needed and another bloody Fortune, he's always injured!

Happy to be proven wrong though

Happy to be proven wrong though

Not trying to pick on you personally but this certainly wouldn't be the first time that our fans have been wrong about Sam's signings!
