March 5, 200719 yr available on a bosman at the end of the season and ive always been impressed when ive seen him play. cant see any of the top 4 looking at him, but i think he would definately add something to our static midfield.

The key could be in talking ITV into having the next series of Wags Boutique in Manchester.
March 5, 200719 yr anybody south of horwich before he'd come to us spurs, if not them, fulham or villa Edited March 5, 200719 yr by Casino
March 5, 200719 yr anybody south of horwich before he'd come to us spurs, if not them, fulham or villa I think Casino is right. There would be about 4 or 5 clubs he'd join before us. Its the percieved image of Bolton to many a English based players that would put them off coming. Add to that list Newcastle as it seems some people are still sucked into the "big club" bullshit. That said he would be a fantastic signing!

Haven't we already signed such a midfield player already for next season, the 20 year old FC Zurich skipper?
March 5, 200719 yr Haven't we already signed such a midfield player already for next season, the 20 year old FC Zurich skipper? From what i've heard the Swiss lad is a defensive midfield. Or am i talking shite...again?

March 5, 200719 yr I think Sidwell would be a good signing and definitely improve the team, but I think we need width more than anything. Whenever Campo seemed to have the ball in a bit of space yesterday there was only Diouf who pulled out wide, and even then Blackburn usually had 2 men on him.
March 5, 200719 yr Its the percieved image of Bolton to many a English based players that would put them off coming. True, but that needs to be addressed smartish. If UEFA change the rules, we'll need more English (or maybe ex-Academy) players in the squad.
March 5, 200719 yr True, but that needs to be addressed smartish. If UEFA change the rules, we'll need more English (or maybe ex-Academy) players in the squad. I think thats the reason Sam has been pushing so hard for the new academy facilities to be built. Plus bringing in youngsters like that topi obadaye fella he brought in from Cov, the cov fans were not happy the club sold him, hence why we could pay upto ??1m for him. If 3 or 4 players come through and play as key a role as nolan and Hunt do (regardless of what you think of them they have become 1st team regulars) then it will be money well spent.
March 5, 200719 yr Is he the one who moaned when the Reading fans all wore ginger wigs? Mardarse. If it was the other ginger bollix, my apologies Steve.
March 5, 200719 yr available on a bosman at the end of the season and ive always been impressed when ive seen him play. cant see any of the top 4 looking at him, but i think he would definately add something to our static midfield. He will end up as spurs they always fu.cking do of there english
March 5, 200719 yr If it was the other ginger bollix, my apologies Steve. Yeah - think it was Dave Kitson that.
March 5, 200719 yr He will end up as spurs they always fu.cking do of there english Again love, in English this time.

March 5, 200719 yr Who was our last ginger then? I'm probably missing someone but I can't think of a real one since Johansen...maybe Hendry? but he was more blonde...
March 5, 200719 yr sorry im retarded. He will end up at spurs they always fu.cking do. You need to read whatever gobbledygook you are trying to post more carefully, otherwise you are just wasting your own and everyone else's time.

March 5, 200719 yr Sidwell is a class player, and to get him on a free would be quality. I know City were very interested in him, but I don't think he will want to be playing in the championship next season.
March 5, 200719 yr According to one of our scouts we have an agreement to sign steve sidwell at the end of the season, he seems to think weve got it in the bag, which i for one would be suprised as this is bolton were talking about.
