just remembered a couple more, I once played in a 5-a-side tournament at Highbury, and our keeper was Gareth Gray, also in the "squad" were Paul Hughes and Chris O'Brien - for those of you that don't know, they were "fringe players" for BWFC about 15 years ago

i played in a game on the pitch at the bok end of season game a couple of the backroom staff played, think some of them are ex pro's, not to sure

karen carney the england ladys striker played for a 5 a-side team against mine we didt no she was a pro at the time and she scored 8 goals past us so we were all feeling slightly embaresed in the pub after the game. oh and seen as othere people are metioning cricket i once played against tufnell and had a net with a few derbyshire lads including corky

Played with Dennis Irwin when he was at Wolves, just a kick about for my dads team, one of the players knew him and brought him down.

Nicky Adams. Plays for Bury, was on Bolton/Man U's books. Not played with or again, but he is my wife's 1st cousin.

I played American football on Naples beach in Florida with a guy called Chris Chambers who was a wide reciever or running back for the Miami Dolphins a couple of years ago.

 

He dropped the ball twice claiming he had the sun in his eyes, but I just think he was a bit shite.
