Forgot to add to mine, I won a Bobby Charlton (spit) soccer school thingymybob ala David beckham, but the main difference is my career went better than his.

 

Had to score penalties past Bobby (had an argument with him about Munich / 58 cup final etc as a 12 year old) the old cuunt andour soon to be keeper at the time Shilts - and yes he went down as slowly against (as opposed to on) me like he did at the Victoria ground a few years later for us...

Played in Lancashire yoof sides til i was 21 with the likes of James Anderson, Saj Mahmood and Paul Horton........bastards! Not jealous at all! Smashed Anderson all round Burnley CC and Saj at Astley Bridge, i think the beer and illegal fags had summat to do with my downfall!???

Raced Carl Fogarty (through the traffic in Preston - he was in some fancy assed beemer and I was in a Transit minibus).

 

Raced against Neil Hodgson (admittedly it was on mountain bikes in the IOM End to End mtb race - er, he beat me...)
