Doctor Tongue Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 aye, that's a good shout record speaks for itself Agree - maybe not high profile enough. Hoddle for me
Doctor Tongue Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 nah, we know this idiot Must be missing something?
Pablo Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 We are big enough to attract better managers than Jewell and Bothroyd. Mark Hughes or Carlos Queiroz please.
Casino Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Must be missing something? aye, about 5 years at least if you reckon you were 7 in 1980
Doctor Tongue Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007   Would consider David Moyes - but he would probably be out of his depth at our club. People still ask David 'who' when you mention Moyesy. His signings are worse than LSL's
Casino Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 glad its not just me queiroz and hughes would walk over broken glass to the reebok, wouldn't they?
Doctor Tongue Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 aye, about 5 years at least if you reckon you were 7 in 1980 Just the one - was 8! Age has been kinder to me than you my mate!!
no balls Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 John Gregory anyone? He's got premiership experience and could well be available very soon.
kearsleywhite Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 not that this is what i'd vote for but i'm wondering if club have gary speed in mind for managers job once he's gained the relevant coaching badges maybe with someone like toshack to help him along as his assistant..

george Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Souness??? wtf If the question marks mean you don't know his record.....He has managed 4 Premier League clubs, not been relegated and won an Fa Cup and a League Cup.And beat Allardyce to automatic promotion in 2000/01.
Casino Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 (edited) c'mom georgie boy youre site statto how much did souness spend preserving this wonderful never been relegated record i know his liverpool record was top notch, pity he didn't get the OT gig and the blackburn team that beat us to automatic promotion - did our team cost more than buttons in comparison? george Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 c'mom georgie boy youre site statto how much did souness spend preserving this wonderful never been relegated record and the blackburn team that beat us to automatic promotion - did our team cost more than buttons in comparison He's spent plenty money but most clubs have done since Sky started pumping the money in. Bolton had a team of similar standard to the ones Souness had at Newcastle and Blackburn when Allardyce left.Hiring Souness would have had us in mid table at the worst with our easy start in my opinion.
Traf Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I shudder at the thought of Sourness managing our club, but George is probably right.
Guest squidgy66 Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Martin Allen. If we're not going to win anything at least I want the manager to have mental health problems so we can have a laugh
