Is there owt wrong in just wanting to enjoy the win after what we've been through so far this season FFS? Analyse to your hearts content. The points are in the bag and the records will show we won 3-1 at Upton Park. Full stop.

calm down fella, kinell....

Always calm me, Homo. Just don't get your criticism of KD. We must have watched a different game. Does seem to be a lot of negativity about a win that was built up in the media as "the clash of the team with the best home record and the team with the worst away record".

I am well happy with that result but we need to back it up with another good result against the dingles.

Spoke to a Mackem this morning and he thought it was shite to watch - neutral view for you.

I thought it was a bloody good game, and I thought we played very well.

Despite not keeping clean sheets we look 'solid' lately and we're slowly putting our game together in an attacking sense.

I don't get Smiley and Homer, you don't go away and play like Brazil, let's be realistic. it was an 8 or 9/10 performance for me and everybody did their bit

I know Elmander isn't match fit but I think he's improving, he'll do

smiley was probably arseholed so disregard him

i agree with homer

davies wasn't his usual combative self and elmander isn't back to his best, yet

neither of us is unhappy with the performance on the whole

id go as far as saying i thought it was very, very good

Great to get a win. We maybe got that luck we needed. One or two incidents changed the game in our favour.

We need to push on from this and get results against Blackburn and Everton.

Neither of them look special: so why not?

I'd like you to retract that statement. I watched the 2nd half with my 6 year old in the pub with a glass of diet Coke.

We then went on the park together. Now that was fun and entertaining.

Maybe its the other way around and the pisscans needs to watch a game sober to see the stark reality of how drab it is.

Never said I wasn't happy about the win. Never said we played badly. But we didn't entertain.

Don't expect us to play like Brazil - but I find our football boring to watch. I imagine many many fans up and down the country do to.

Ok, maybe its a little intriguing to watch, but boring all the same.

No doubt being in the ground with a few shandies inside me would have given me a completely different angle on the proceedings.

However, I like what Megson has said. He intends to improve on the current tactics and filter in the passing football. He's a realist and knows we'll get murdered 9/10 if we try to play too much too soon.

Still boring though.

add city and spurs to that list as well

we won't win them all

but 2 out of 4 is a realistic target

and maybe a draw

got to keep playing like we have being doing the last 3 games

more importantly, got to hope everyone can stay fit

hopefully in january we can strengthen

but fully fit squad is they key

Nowadays there seems to be a school of thought that says that timing a jump and heading the ball on goal or a teammate is not skilful, it's one of the most difficult things to do well and KD is first class at it. He seemed to win over 75% of his headers against Upson and the fullback who fouled him every time.

Wheres all this bollocks coming from about being entertained? If you want entertaining go to the theatre, this is football where people play to win at all costs because their jobs depend on it.

If we can win the home games and a draw away, id be happy with that.

Agree. Thanks for putting me right.

I'll go to the theatre, where I guess the actors don't perform out of their skin because their mediocre (compared to Premiership footballers) livelihood depends on it.

THE THEATRE - YOU BIG GAYER .

I GO TO DIAMONDS TO BE ENTERTAINED.

They get payed to entertain. Footballers dont. FACT

SO DO THE GIRLS IN DIAMONDS !!

Long time since i been on.

Belated well done by the way. Not many times over the last 18 months have people seen a Green howler let alone two in one game!

Hope the financial rumours are only that. Good luck for rest of season

like I said - we play shite football.

against West Ham we had two goalkeeping errors and a "Striker" football to be thankful to for our goals.

yesterday Robinson wasn't being so generous and Taylor hit his shot too well.

we're doomed, doomed I say!

Belated well played (computerless for last few weeks)

deserved the points.

Greens worst game for as long as I can remember, but no complaints about the outcome.

A rough ride for you lads and Zola with the sponsors and owners problems. Bloody shame Ashton is such a sick note. Would have been an England regular if he wasn't.

I'm sure you'll be enjoying Tottenhams magical run? Let's just hope we don't change their luck this weekend.
