Megson out etc etc etc

Excellent result. Gary Megsons 10th win in 35 games in charge. A good enough record?

Great to see the Matty Taylor and McCann knockers quietened.

possibly not. but out of 7 containing 4 away games and Manyoo Arsenal and Newcastle pre-implosion to have 7 point's

I'd have expected maybe a draw at Flum/WHU and 3 against WBA so we're only a point behind where i'd hoped us to be

didn't have a curry last night then !!

Lot of good performances there

Davies as usual

McCann was superb, should always be ahead of JOB

Gardner was a decent outlet and all the back four (five actually including Jussi) were solid.

Just glad the improvement against Arsenal and United stuck

Elmander and Muamba as you'd expect for new signings are improving all the time, Nolan got a couple of shots in, happy days !

Again impressive display, shame we have a week off now due to th'internationals,

Agreed

lads did'nt play like we'd lost the last 3 games. WHU were flying but we brought them back down to earth with a bump. Did'nt really look like conceeding an equaliser at 2-1 its a big, big win

thank fook taylor hit that screamer, as they looked the more likely to score, couple of observations, Kevin Davies should be playing uptop and elmander should play off him or even wide right Davies IS the best striker of his type in the country, still think rather than throw Obrien on with 10 to go I would of prefferd Riga as an outlet to run at West Ham, personally I would have had Riga on at 2-0 with 30 minutes left. Well done to the lads, Kevin Nolan said that the players had a talk after Man u and said that the season starts next week, he was right great attitude and a crucial win.

Great win and performance, really pleased with the 3 points. Is it me or is that the most adventurous we have played away in a few years. Even at nil nil the full backs were pushing on with real intent, was made up to see such a positive attitude.

Im not a big fan, never have been and never will be but well done MEGGO, =D> your tactics were spot on today and you deserve the praise.

I thought the performance was similar to last weeks. The difference being that we had a bit of luck this week. There seems to be more emphasis on passing the ball about and a less physical approach to the game.

i thought davies and and elmander seemed either unfit or just plain lazy.

everyone else, superb...

did muamba ever miss a tackle?

I'm not a McCann fan, when I saw the team I thought IMG, but fair play lad had a good game. :good:

Matt Taylors' goal of the month??

Not if the w@anker pundits are voting :angry2:

Jussi - 7/10 - made a world class save, steady game didn't really have much to do

JLS - 7/10 - Solid defensively did ok going forward

GS - 6/10 - Got caught out of position a few times but will always be my 1st choice

AOB - 7/10 - Solid as usual

GC - 7/10 - Cool on the ball and bossed the back 4

KN - 5/10 - Game passed him by

G Mc - 9/10 - Worked his rocks off all over the pitch, best game so far in a white shirt

Ricco - 6/10 - Looked good at times very busy and never gave up

KD - 8/10 - Grafted and bullied them and always up for it

Muamba - 7/10 - Solid performance and knocked the ball around well, deserves his under 21 call up

Elmander - 5/10 - Not in the game at all but will improve with more games under his belt

MT - What a fcuking goal and welcome back

If we keep the 1st team squad fit we will be fine :good:

Jussi, flawless performance, save of the season so far =D>

Hows on Gods holy Earth did he keep that out, great save.

Agreed, slo-mo does it no justice, whatsoever. Wonderful reactions from him after the deflection.

:

Elmander is a good player. The thing is though every time he gets the ball he is on his own. The rest of the team are too slow to come out and support him.

Kevin davies was at the centre of everyting positive about bolton today, I think if we could go 4-4-2 with elmander and davies closer together we would have a very complimentary effect on our play.
