I am swayed between a defeat to but another nail in Megson's coffin or a morale boosting win to lift us up the table, whilst it is still nice and close.

I always said i would give Megson 10 games this season and if we hadnt improved by then

Megson would have to face the music. I know he doesnt do himself any favours by saying

things like "we played well against Blackburn" but we did win against West Ham and to me

he still has 1 game to prove himself.

In my book if we get on his back early on against Everton ie, if we are clueless or go 1-0 down (or both)

even if we are 2 or 3 down (i know its hard), so we either lose ,or you never know, win. And the fans might get some credit for once.

When Meggo was appointed I was interviewed on Radio Manchester and I said then that whilst the majority of fans were against his appointment, we should back him BUT if and when this went belly up, Gartside should 'fall on his sword'. I believe that the time is close for this to happen. Whilst I will be 100% behind the lads tomorrow and weekend, we can't let this drag on if the results and performances continue. This is Megson's team, formation and tactics and whilst we survived last season, flirting with relegation this season will not provide the same outcome and this time millions have been invested. I would say 2 matches, 3 at absolute tops to turn this around, before we are cut adrift in the bottom 3. Unfortuately if we do sack Meggo, our options for a replacement are severely limited, Allardyce, foreigner or young inexperienced Division 1 manager. Curbs and Dowie are non starters for me!
