1) Eric Cantona - because of his attitude and sly fouls and rule breaking usually behind the ref's back. Sneaky bastard

2) Roy Keane - thug, bully, cheat and deliberately set out to break another professional's leg

3) Diego Maradona - druggy & 'hand of god' cheat

I suppose you have to take folk as you find them. My opinion of Sir Robert Charlton is that he is an absolute gentleman. Shame he's tainted with the filth but, on the occasions I have met him, he has behaved with class and dignity and, above all, has been absolutely magnificent with kids (signing every autograph requested even if it took him hours). Not like me to defend anything from the filth but, for this England World Cup winner, I make an exception.

I've got to agree, my personal dealings with Bobby Charlton are that he is a 1st grade, tight arsed miserable tosser.....FACT! Throw Alan Shearer into the 'hate' box as I'll never forgive him for standing up front of Jussi at SJP while he was trying to take a goal kick and after he was stopping him from doing so then claimed to ref he was taking too long. The ref bottled it and gave the free kick from which they scored and went on to win the game 3-2 IIRC...1st class tw*t!

I was there - ref was David Elleray.

 

The day after the Daily Telegraph said it was a pity more refs didn't penalise goalkeepers for "time wasting"
