I heard a little ripple when he subbed Ricky which was quickly drowned out by claps. Other than that, I didn't hear owt. Not even a bell!

Yeah I heard this too ont radio on way home. It gave the impression Megson had mentioned something but can't find any quotes. I'd be disappointed if he has as I didn't hear anything during the game.

In the second half there were a few chants of Riga from people who wanted an attacking substitution to take advantage of Pompey's weakened defence with Glenn Johnson missing.When a substitution was made,it was a negative one bringing off Gardner for Muamba.That decision got some boos by at a guess 200 people,it was not very loud.

Once the point had been made,it quickly turned to claps and cheers for Gardners' performance.

I heard the Megson interview later on on the same Talksport show, he explained that Gardner was knackered and then said we created just as many chances with 5 in midfield. Said that the booing was aimed at him and that it was somat he had gotten used to at his time here or words to that effect. The way he and then collymore went on about it I thought it had been a cauldron of booing.

 

On another point watching football first, when we went two up, why did the commentator keep harping on about pompey rather than how good bolton where playing? more southern bias imo.

2-1 up and you want to put Riga on who couldn't tackle a decent dinner. There were a few who were there but a little confused.

Replaced a tired Gardner with Muamba was a good move IMO.

It made us defensively stronger, whilst we still continued to make chances to miss!

Anyone who booed the substitution is a idiot and knows nothing about football. That is all.

Anyone who shouts for Riga to be introduced knows nothing about managers digging their heels in. Even if riga was about to play, Megson would have decided on someone else just so it didn't look as though the crowd were influencing his decisions.

My choice would have been Smolarek for Elmander with 25-30 minutes to go,i thought Elmander wouldnt have scored if he played all night.When it got to only 7 minutes from time Muamba for Gardner was a safe choice but it meant if Pompey equalised we wouldn't have scored a 3rd.

There was no Megson booing yesterday. Collymore should stick to his dogging the brummie prick.

Several players looked tired near the end. That's worrying.

And Gardner was our only quick tricky outlet, while KD, Taylor & Elmander all stayed on.
