Brilliant idea. I hope no one ruins it.

by being quiet?

by being quiet?

Possibly and poor taste chants.

from who?

I'll be joining in with the minute's applause although I personally think it should be a minute's silence.

That to me is a proper show of respect to a Bwfc legend.

I don't think that the scum fans would ruin it as he also played for them.

Plus they'll remember us being quiet for them in 1998 at OT.

IMO a bad choice by the club.

from who?

I would guess Man U fans.

When we played Man U at OT the other year near the anniversary of Munich did BWFC fans not treat there minute's silence impeccably ?

yeah but the idiots of today can ruin a minutes silence. it's more difficult for them to ruin a minutes applause

They did

they'll also remember the munich chants every other time we play them

you couldn't blame them

but I doubt they're that arsed anyway

There was a silence for Matt Busby in the early 90s against Tranmere at Burnden that wasn't respected.

Anyone singing Munich songs tomorrow, given Ian Greaves' connection with it, is well out of line.

Spot on

Anyone singing Munich songs tomorrow, given Ian Greaves' connection with it, is well out of line.

Most signing the said chant won't have even been born when Ian Greaves managed our great club, never mind at the time he was playing for United.

As Carlos says he was in the 58 squad but was injured

Anyone who does that wants stoning

I still have it on video tape . . . whatever one of those once was!

hang about... do they want stoning because the air crash is relevant to us for once ?

but when singing at other times it is ok ?

ooh, to be fair i personally feel it is poor taste at anytime. most of my family are reds, as are my friends and neighbours. a relative of mine played for them just prior to the disaster, so i know it cuts deep. mocking the death of anyone is wrong

back to the point, respect has to be shown, sadly by some wankers it isnt. regardless of who they support- every team has them... some more than others

I don't think people sing out of a lack of respect to those who died in the crash.

Was trying to say as an ex red

I remember all the idiots in K stand applauding us after the minute's silence, then it was 'as you were'

You may have been. I was quiet out of respect for those that died.

I was silent out of respect for their families who were in the stadium.
