January 23, 200917 yr Officially signed. ?5mil, 50k a week, four and a half year deal. Bargain. There is no way on this planet that we should have given him a four and a half year deal. Ridiculous and shows Hull's desperation and not their ambition
January 23, 200917 yr Officially signed. ?5mil, 50k a week, four and a half year deal. Bargain. ?16.7m for a player who will be just 3 months away from being 35 at the end of the deal. Madness IMO.
January 23, 200917 yr I am really glad I do not work in a company run by some of the numb fuckers on this Board. Say you fancy a pint, you walk into the pub, the landlord notices you look thirsty and he says it is ?5 a pint in here. (It is a normal wetherspoons pub in Bolton you were expecting to pay ?2). Do you buy the pint and also pay the 50p per minute the landlord wants for letting you borrow a glass. OR Tell him to shove his beer up his arse ? If then someone else walks in and is prepared to pay ?5 do you start to think my oh my I have missed out there ? just playing devil's advocate here but what if that person then gets really p?ssed, has a great night and gets laid whilst you're left having a cry wank outside the pub looking on in?
January 23, 200917 yr just playing devil's advocate here but what if that person then gets really p?ssed, has a great night and gets laid whilst you're left having a cry wank outside the pub looking on in? kind of goes in, drops the fruit machine, buys everyone a drink, and gets off with a kinky slut looking for some ginger stranger sex
January 23, 200917 yr just playing devil's advocate here but what if that person then gets really p?ssed, has a great night and gets laid whilst you're left having a cry wank outside the pub looking on in? I was hoping you would think that there are other pubs lets find one that is selling things at the price we think is right
January 23, 200917 yr I was hoping you would think that there are other pubs lets find one that is selling things at the price we think is right in this analogy are city buying their over priced fizzy p?ssfroth from the kiosks under the east stand even though they know it's a rip off?
January 23, 200917 yr And if not, theres still some decent booze back at home that'll do for tonight. We'll try again the next night and see then. That said, i don't think we had ?17mil to commit to Bullard even if we'd gone mad and wanted too. Edited January 23, 200917 yr by Tombwfc
January 23, 200917 yr just playing devil's advocate here but what if that person then gets really p?ssed, has a great night and gets laid whilst you're left having a cry wank outside the pub looking on in?Then I guess you'd be arrested. Standards may have fallen, but masturbating in public is pushing it a bit, even in Bolton town centre on a Saturday night.
January 23, 200917 yr Bullard to Hull deal completed - ?5 million and rumoured to be getting 50k per week for three years.
January 23, 200917 yr Bullard to Hull deal completed - ?5 million and rumoured to be getting 50k per week for three years. We know Bullard signed for Hull
January 23, 200917 yr Im trying not too get down about this but i will be miffed if we do not have an attacking midfielder in by end of Feb. Not happy. Worried about Weds also - don't want to see BSA with a smug face.
January 23, 200917 yr I think we should be looking to sign the next Jimmy Bullard, not the current one at a cost of 80K a week taking into account reported transfer fee and wages. Man Utd paid a reported ?8m for Tosic who is comparible to Curcic. That's the state of the market. I blame Meggo.
February 3, 200917 yr Maybe, just maybe: Megson didn't feel that a ?5m+ fee and ?10m in wages over a 4 yr deal represented great value for money for a 30yr old with dodgy knees. Hmmmmm. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_4891746,00.html
February 4, 200917 yr Gary Megson correct again or Gartside?!!! Somebody at Bolton knew what a reasonable weekly wage was for Bullard and what Hull signed up for ain't it!
February 5, 200917 yr Did we actually negotiate? Not sure we even put in a bid in anger. Not concerned. Listened to Roy Hodgson the other night and he described Bullards wage demands as 'beyond our means'. If it was beyond Fulhams means with Al Fow Ed running the show, I wouldn't want BWFC even considering it. It appears we may not have and would seem to continue the trend of good business decisions in transfer dealings.
Going to Hull City!!! Sky Sports News.
Is he on crack?
