H Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Thought I'd read somewhere in the dim and distant past - perhaps just before the current deal was renegotiated - that even if Reebok did not renew then the stadium name was unlikely to change. Of course I am getting old and senile before anybody points that out.
MickyD Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I like their suggestions. I would especially like to say I was going to the Big sam arena(!!!!!!!!!!) Why not? After all, Coventry named their new stadium after Bruce Rioch didn't they? Unfortunately Little Whitt was the sign erector! :p
Chris T. Church Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 God I hate the Mail, absolute crap. I'm sure the moving of the Reebok HQ is something that has been mentioned before and has nowt to do with any sponsership deal. They just make stuff up just for the sake of it! Fvck 'em! Anyway for names, surely Carrs Pasty Arena rather than Greggs? Just a better product, fact. Also "the Loft-House" or perhaps Horwich Motorway Service Station. I couldn't name it Burnden, it's just not.
tyldesley_white Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 He actually wrote: Reebok, who are also Bolton?s main shirt sponsors, will continue with their deals but doubts about renewals when they expire in 2016 will be raised if they move away from the town. But did they not move away before and then return ?
no balls Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 But did they not move away before and then return ? No, they had an office in Silverwell Street (not near the prozies though), as well as the Lancaster site, then consolidated it all in the stadium.
tyldesley_white Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 No, they had an office in Silverwell Street (not near the prozies though), as well as the Lancaster site, then consolidated it all in the stadium. My mistake , thanks

When did they take it over?
Sweep Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Yates's would be a good sponsor, with different brews for each stand "On the blob" stand etc Poor workers, having to trail to stockport every day Adidas? When did they take it over? That could be next to the away fans, and should only be filled with female fans at certain times of the month

Zozzy Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 No, they had an office in Silverwell Street (not near the prozies though), as well as the Lancaster site, then consolidated it all in the stadium. The carpets were beautifully fitted in them Silverwell Street offices, but every electrical socket for the computers was in the floor so a bastard to cut round every one.
