Perfect sense, Homer ..... when he's our only fit experienced central-midfielder and we're selling him to a desperate relegation rival.

Your two extremes do exist however, and always have done in difficult times.

Thought they would have someone lined up to come in.

Maybe it's time for one of the squad/fringe players to step up to the mark and show GM that he is the person to take over the Kevin Nolan role. I agree I sit in camp 3 miself, and I know the others who do, and geneally they are noted by their silence / balanced view whilst all the goings on have the mongsons, as I'll call them from now on, and the meg's son (because of their undivided loyalty (i'm bored)) shouting the loudest and bitching about each other

not the biggest nolan fan but

i would just like to thank nolan for all the years hard graft he put in for the club,he wore the shirt with a lot of pride and you can't saty that about to many footballers in this day and age,

legend i don't think he is but definately has iconic status,

i think it's a good deal all round as most have said he seems to have lost all sharpness and fitness over the past few years

i just hope when we play them in a few weeks (if he plays he gets a reception a good former player gets when he returns

 

got a funny feeling he'll come back to haunt us, 89th minute winner.
