I was nearly dry mounted by a random, 20 stone gayer when Vaz Te scored that

I still have the scar on my left calf from the following celebrations.

but mine was beating West Ham with JJ's goal, so much pressure on that match, plus it stuck two fingers up at the knobbers in the press!!

Oh aye! That 3-2 over Liverpool was a blinder and then stuffing City was marvellous. Our history teacher was a blue and we almost had the fecker in tears with the p1ss taking.

 

We managed it with the RE teacher who was Liverpool fan. Threw his bible and stormed out skriking

But the best was Blackburn away in 78, can never be beaten.

Did they play 'Oh What A Night' by the 4 Seasons, over the tannoy when we were all on the pitch? I'm sure they did as it has been my favourite record ever since that night, purely for nostalgia.

So many great nights,days and occasions but the Bolton bug for me began in the 70s the Newcastle game at Burnden had the feel of a massive game, a fantastic 3-3 draw and the 2 replays were also big big games even in Little Hulton, also the defining moment for me that put me on this incredible journey of watching Bolton was the 1/4 final match against Derby, I was 12 at the time and Derby were a magnificent team recently champions of England, Derby and Bolton were my teams, Bolton won and that was the end of Derby for me and it has been Bolton ever since.

Unless we win a cup final I can't see anything ever beating the Reading game - done and dusted at 2-0 down and penalty awarded.....waiting to see if De Freitas' shot would roll in was the sweetest agony ever. I didn't have much left to give after roaring myself hoarse when it rolled in, so the winning goals were almost anti-climactic.

Reading 95 for me by a mile. How many on here can honestly say when he put the ball on the spot for the penalty thought we would be a premier league team later that day???
