Ani Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 the fact about barton is that he misses games due to injury abd suspension and we can not afford to have expensive players sat on the touchline. for these reasons i am out.
athywhite1958 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 the fact about barton is that he misses games due to injury, suspension and thuggery, we can not afford to have expensive players sat in a prison cell again. for these reasons i am out.
DutchWhites Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Have you sought counselling, cloghead? Have you ever considered a career as a stand-up comic doing the Northern circuit? - do you honestly thing you are that funny???????????????????
bolty58 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Have you ever considered a career as a stand-up comic doing the Northern circuit? - do you honestly thing you are that funny??????????????????? Not at all, kind sir. Athywhite1958 seemed to find it so and, if I have made one person smile today then my work is done. Also, can I respectfully point out your typographical error in this post and numerous ones in your earlier (further) anti Megson rant that wasn't.

Having considered the post and the context of the thread, it was amusing

DoubleDutch, I am not convinced yet by Megson either but I haven't got a clue what you are on about or why you brought the subject up on a discussion about Joey Barton?
bolty58 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 typographical error - go on? I am interested to know. I never trained to type. I can see the point about the linesman being unsighted. One of our yellow shirts completely blocked Mido from his view.
Sumo Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I'd take him on a free pay as you play deal (if no-one else wants him) - would be more effective than Muamba & McCann when available.
MickyD Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I wouldn't even take him on a he-pays-us basis! The lad has a serious amount of loose screws!
DutchWhites Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 (edited) Have you sought counselling, cloghead? yes, but the counsellor said i was far too complex for any sort of treatment! (well I had to give a reply to that question sooner or later) Edited May 5, 2009 by DutchWhites
Sweep Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 He does have "Sam Allardyce Signing" written all over him, he'll be pitching up at Ewood Park in the next few months.
MickyD Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 He does have "Sam Allardyce Signing" written all over him, he'll be pitching up at Ewood Park in the next few months. Didn't SA buy inflict him on Newcastle? Even Sam wouldn't be so stupid twice . . . would he?
superjohnmcginlay Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 He's been suspended by Newcastle for coming to blows with the messiah in the changing rooms after the game at weekend, utter knob
Carlos Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I've just watched this in slow motion, the ball is there to be challenged for and he gets the ball. The ball goes off Alonso, it's a throw in to Newcastle. In short, he's been sent off for being Joey Barton.
freds dad Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 He's been suspended by Newcastle for coming to blows with the messiah in the changing rooms after the game at weekend, utter knob Who's the untter knob? Shearer or Barton
Carlos Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Shearer is the worst caretaker since Ian Huntley according to PopBitch.
no balls Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Who's the untter knob? Shearer or Barton Option C - Both.
DutchWhites Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Option C - Both. tbh I think Barton just the prize just by a whisker!
no balls Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 He's been suspended by Newcastle for coming to blows with the messiah in the changing rooms after the game at weekend, utter knob http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5283073,00.html Newcastle United have suspended midfielder Joey Barton until further notice. The 26-year-old was sent off for the fourth time in his career in the Magpies' 3-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday. Manager Alan Shearer entrusted the former Manchester City man to cope with the pressure on Merseyside, but was left fuming after Barton was dismissed for a reckless challenge on Xabi Alonso. Newcastle have not divulged the reasons behind Barton's suspension, although it is believed to stem from an alleged bust-up between Shearer and the midfielder in the aftermath of the defeat. No link Sky Sports News understands that Barton's suspension is not directly linked to his dismissal for his tackle on Alonso, but for his apparent clash with Shearer. This latest move by Newcastle could well end Barton's career on Tyneside after he was backed by the club following his release from prison last summer. "Newcastle United can confirm that Joey Barton has been suspended from the club until further notice," read a statement on the club's official website. "The club will be making no further comment on the matter at this time."
