Site Supporter Spider Posted August 25, 2009 Site Supporter Share Posted August 25, 2009 If some on here can forgive an optomist, I have a good feeling about Saturday. Kev Davies pounding a flaky murderers' defence for Elmander to finally bury a goal and some demons. Imagine what a big lift the players would get with some huge backing from the stands? Moderators Casino Posted August 25, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 25, 2009 muamba was subbed cos we'd conceded the one time gerrard lost muamba actually if we'd have continued the 'defend gerrard at all costs' that would have resulted in stick for megson too however, he swapped it around at half time and gardner fell over his feet with an open goal seconds into the second half them that turn every thread into a megson out one seem like really rounded individuals i'd love to spend a night in their company the time would fly by
Guest squidgy66
Whys a thread titled Liverpool V Villa turned into a Megsons shitt thread? Don't they all In defence of the original post, most clubs in our position look at the fixtures in the begining of the season and have a fairly good plan of where they want to try and get their 40 points from. If we get any points in certain games like the Liverpool one then it's a bonus. That's not to say we won't make a game of it and try to win, it's just acceptance of inequality in the league and the way things are.

jayjayoghani
Is it true that Villa fans booed their team off at half time last night? Perhaps you've misheard a news report about O'Neill criticising the fans for booing - it was about the Wigan game http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...lla/8219523.stm He said: "I'm staggered by what's going on. To get the abuse we got against Wigan was not warranted. "You pay your money and you can go for it if you want but that can be disheartening for young players." Traf
Villa fans were singing to O'Neill to "give us a wave" last night and he wouldn't. When asked why, he replied that he would have been as hypocritical as they were.
