Just to temper the mood of optimism and despite my felings of euphoria especially about the class act that is yong, we sat back too much today we took the lead and promptly shut up shop, Brum were there for the taking we allowed them to come at us for most of the game and if they were half decent they would have sent us home with tail firmly between our legs, anyhow great and important 3 points onwards and upwards.

p.s.Zat Knight had his best game in a bolton shirt, well done to him.

Maybe but it could have been 4or5 today with better finishing, all in all well played and fcuk it feels good :yahoo:

To be fair we still had a few good chances and should of scored more even when we were sat back. Wins are what matter though and we won bucketloads of tight games when we got into europe :pardon: . We are slowly improving though and a decent ish performance against spuds and we are definatley on the up :yahoo:

Really impressed with today

Good squad (best to date, potentially?)

Some real quality

Some outstanding performances

+ Chungy, who could be a legend

For me, the question has been; Megson can find good players, but could he manage them?

Well, maybe.

Totally agree with the comment about Knight he was very good today as were Cahill and Cohen.

Anybody else notice the unpleasant smell whafting over the stand throughout the proceedings?

To me it smelt like pea wet

Spot on Mounts Kipper

Muamba is also worth a mention he has been solid this season

Well done to all the lads but agree if we had gone at them we would have won confortably

Brighter times ahead

Do girls in Wigan wear knickers?

Having just watched it again there is no way we will go down, we will score plenty goals, mid table at least :good:

Look, keep it simple, we're all giddy, but he wasn't "solid" against Stoke.

Good result, next match please.

Think we have plenty of goals in the team. Hopefully the ealy season jitters are behind us. Lee is a breath of fresh air - a great addition to the, sod it any, squad

Well done Gary, and well done team,a bloody good result.Glad to see Lee score(didn't think it would be long).Fcuk off BBC for your usual piss poor biased coverage! And Gary....grinning like a Cheshire cat whilst being interviewed after a win WILL endear you to the fans.Trust me!

I thought the bloke behind me had shit himself, decided to go down for an early pint.

Cracking day out, great support from the whites maybe not in numbers but everyone seemed really up for it.

4,4,2 or 4,3,3 not sure what it was but it worked, ok we rode our luck at times but the points are in the bag.

Its going to be tough against spurs with the gypo and freak banging them in, I Just hope he doesnt pussy out because of it and go back to 4,5,1!

Well done Whites.

I have just got back from the match, and what a cracking day out it was, We played some excellent football yesterday, and apart from Kevin Davis, (even though he set up Cohens goal) i thought every player had a decent game.

Lee has a big future ahead of him, he is class, his constant running at and beating of players is something we have been missing for quite a while, and should be given a few starts.

But the biggest surprise was our support, non stop singing and not single boo or "Megson Out" chant to be heard. Well impressed!

*edit* I also noticed that foul stench and couldnt figure out what it was, we were sat in the far right hand corner as you looked at the pitch, and it seemed get worse as you went closer to the middle of the stand

Blimey, did you walk back on your hands?

Having reviewed the matter; Birmingham is not known as a shithole for nothing
