what you don't see was the events leading up to the free kick. mccann, i think it was him, was fouled but he put lee clean through on goal. ref blew up for the foul, hence davies' reaction

regardless, i'm in the anti-megson camp (non-booer) but today, he got the tactics spot on. let's just hope he can put the negative stuff behind him

great day to be a wanderer, ktf

You'd need some voice to be heard from Singapore :)

Thought youtube's ok, though nowt'll dampen my mood toneet

Nope on both counts, I think 8P

I actually think Klasnic was playing very well before he went off. I really like the look of him. Proper footballer and he plays some very intelligent passes and can hold the ball up well. I felt a little sorry fo him when Gary decided to go 5 in midfield. In my opinion he has slotted in really well so far and I am confident now I've seen him a few times that he's a good un! :good:

In patches today we played some good stuff. But we still had patches of hoofing it long and allowing it to come straight back, putting defence under huge pressure. When Jussi rolled it out to full backs or Chung we built far better attacks. More of that please!

Cohen has to play for his finishing [ the rest of midfield are woeful finishers ] ... and we don't need McCann and Muamba in same team.

Great 3 points though and erased the Stoke disappointment well :)

aye, just back and I thought it was a cracking away support - hardly the biggest but we got behind them big time. :yahoo: :drinks:

Missed the first fucking goal though thanks to the lack of taxis down town

Missed the first fucking goal though thanks to doing my usual and thinking I had time to neck another pint

Actually I almost did a Squidgy - train I got from Derby to Brum actually went on to Cardiff. I was a bit rough after last night and fell asleep - fortunately woke up just as it was slowing into New Street. Could have faced a welcome in the valleys otherwise :pardon:

Oh and I delivered various hyper hot chillies to BigE so the soft cunt better eat them

Just back, absolutely fantastic away support and Lee Chung Yong is a legend in the making. He must start now, brilliant.

Thats 2 and a half games in a row Megson has switched his tactics to something more positive and it has come off. Surely he will keep the same team next week now he has found the right formula :yahoo: If we get the ball in the box against spurs we will get goals, both their keepers are shit and their defence isnt exactly solid.

Just to temper the mood of optimism and despite my felings of euphoria especially about the class act that is yong, we sat back too much today we took the lead and promptly shut up shop, Brum were there for the taking we allowed them to come at us for most of the game and if they were half decent they would have sent us home with tail firmly between our legs, anyhow great and important 3 points onwards and upwards.

p.s.Zat Knight had his best game in a bolton shirt, well done to him.
