globaldiver Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 (edited) I really wasn't looking forward to yesterday's match, thought we'd get hammered, but it was a reminder of the quality he has been able to bring in. Tuesday isn't really a "must win" match, there's too much of the season to go, but in terms of confidence and winning a match, it would make a big difference. Looking forward to this one. M G WHITES Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Cant come quick enough, night game's are great and split up the drap working week. We'll shit um
superjohnmcginlay Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Im going to predict we keep our first clean sheet of the season and have a good 2-0 victory
MickyD Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 3-0 Klasnic 2, Elmander (his replacement) 1 - 19,456
snackum Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Megson will go all defensive in a "Shit..... best not lose this one then !" way. They can't score and we can't keep a clean sheet.... so 0-1 (Franco) 1-1 (SKD) Megson thinks.... we could win this.... 2-1 (SKD after Lee and Klasnic came on after 75 minutes and tore them apart). 3-1 (They have given up and Matt Taylor fires home a free kick from 30 yards out after Green gets his positioning wrong. Again)
Arrested development Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Im going to predict we keep our first clean sheet of the season and have a good 2-0 victory we certainly need to start keeping clean sheets. we're giving ourselves to much to do in order to get three points. Birmingham are doing well at the moment because they are capable of winning games 1-0. we aren't at the moment. With west ham's record at the reebok being poor we need to take advantage of that.
Rembrandt Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 There may be a lot of the season to go but if we don't win home games like this then we'll be stuck deep in the bottom three, and confidence will take another knock. It's a must win : especially after yesterday's performance and given WHU's position and their record at the Reebok. One win in the first 9 home games would be dire.
SatanGreavsie Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 question is, can I be bothered driving up for it??
Guest bwfcdan Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 2-1 Whites... new record for lowest premiership attendance at the reebok...
MickyD Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I think the positives from Saturday will increase the crowd. Had we lost on Saturday then I would agree with you.
newquay central Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 A must win for both teams . 3 - 1 whites , same team that started saturday . Klasnic hatrick !
snowball Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 What is the lowest Premier attendance we have had?
Didledee Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Bolton 3-0 West Ham Cohen,Lee and K.Davies Our 1st clean sheet and a welcome confidence boost going into the Christmas games.
Piemon Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 What is the lowest Premier attendance we have had? 18,413 vs Villa (28th Oct 2007) Just after Megson took over. At least hes bringing the crowds back
Tyldesley White Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 A must win game and i think we will win 2-1, Taylor and a late K Davies winner
frank_spencer Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 the bring yer mates for a tenner might offset the lack of moaning bastuds! 2-0 for me No upson or cole, gives us an advantage.
MickyD Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 It was on a poster as an early Christmas present for the S/T holders. Bring your mate for a tenner. Surely that's an early Christmas present for the mate, not the S/T holder. Dear BWFC lurkers, Isn't it about time you did something for the folk who give their money up front rather than wait to see how the season pans out? Isn't at about time that you treated those who fill your ground, days and nights because they already had a ticket? Isn't it about time you gave something back?
Sir_Francis Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I'm going for reverse phycology here, on the assumption that every time I expect a result, the whites seem to let me down. 0-2 in favour of West Ham. Oh, and I'm gonna try my best to get to this game.

Isn't at about time that you treated those who fill your ground, days and nights because they already had a ticket? Isn't it about time you gave something back? Previous feedback from the club on this is that you and 'your mate' share the saving compared to the full price. This ofcourse, fails to take account that 'your mate' wouldn't pay the full price! Tuesday is a must win game for many reasons. It really is another trip into last chance saloon for Megson, its vital we follow up the confidence gained from the 3-3, its vital for the start of a run of 4 winnable games, its vital to get momentum for our home record and its vital to prevent us becoming even more marooned! Anybody who thinks this is not a must win game is on glue.
Reebok_1 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I'am going for Bolton 1-0 West Ham United, Super Kevin Davies to score.
Traf Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Welcome to Wanderersways, Reebok 1. I think Davies will score, too: his record v West Ham is brilliant. 7 goals in 8 games.
Guest Blixa Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Anybody who thinks this is not a must win game is on glue. Is glue still used 'by the kids'? Memories of spotty head cases under disused railway bridges in Great Lever, frightening stuff. Anyone, back on track, initially thinking 3-1 on a cold night the southern softies will hate. But my head says we'll be more nervous because we've more to lose than against Citeh (where we were expected to get thumped). If our comical defending means we concede early, it could be very bad news when the crowd turns hostile.
