Anybody to replace Elmander on his last two performances and Kevin Davies is not far behind Elmander on his play today.

Totally agree that Wiess is not the answer on the left hand side; looked promising when he first came on for us against Burnley on the right but I dont think he has the quality. So what do we do because Taylor is costing us big time; the guy has completely lost the plot and its been ALL season; we get carried away with a few good free kicks now and then but his overall play is appalling. I would play Gardner out there with Wilshire and Mark Davies in the middle with Muamba playing the holding role and Chunky on the right - either Klasnic or Kevin Davies up top.

I'd go with that line-up.

But I don't understand why, if Muamba is the holding midfielder, it's him charging forward to mis-hit shots on goal and not the other midfielders getting forward and bursting into the box. Let Muamba hold his defensive position ffs.

5 league games without a goal! what a disgrace, they should be ashamed of themselves

If the players are not going to do it for a new manager, then please at least do it for the fans.

Good point that; with Wiltshire and Mark Davies they both want to get forward and Fabrice could then do the job we know he can do well. Wasting chances is not what we want to see from him

We have had 3 away league games recently, we took 2k to Citeh, 3 and a half (ish) to Wigan and maybe 2k today, personally

i feel a bit let down having attended them all. Apart from the 2nd half at Citeh we have been utter garbage.

Our support is laughed at at the Breezeblock but no1 can say that we dont travel.

We need the team to travel like the fans.

After the past two weeks i cant see anything else other than relegation, we cant score goals therefore we wont win games. People who think otherwise are deluded.

Massive massive game next week.

The lack of resilience with this team is the big problem, there is no leader or mental strength, Blackburn were not much better but Allardyce has at least given them the resilience we do not seem to have.

Wolves H 3 points

WHU A 0 points

Sunderland A 1 point

Wigan H 3 points

Everton A 0 points

Scum H 0 points

Villa H 1 point

Chelsea A 0 points

Stoke A 0 points

Portsmouth H 3 points

Tottenham A 0 points

Birmingham H 1 point

That is another 12 points giving us a total of 35 points. I don't think this will keep us up. The Birmingham game could be an extra 2 points but then again the points I predicted against Sunderland and Villa could be 0 points. I am also presuming we get the full points in the home games that should be bankers i.e. Wolves, Wigan and Portsmouth. But as we all know it never pans out the way we expect.

35 points might keep us up as the teams at the bottom really are shiiite including us, but do you know I could not care less, think I have lost the will to live, it is that bad.

today was the 1st time ive felt the same...

at least if we go down, all the moaning twats will fuck off for a while.

i cant take anymore "chase it elmander you fucking cart horse", when davies flicks on a ball 10 yards the wrong side of the defender or "taylor your a lazy bastard" when he too fucked to chase another wayward pass from robinson.

Absolute fucking dog shit today.

Gettin increasingly concerned with Coyle's tactical naiviety - 4-4-2 when we don't have two strikers worthy of the name. None of his coaches have more than 6 months experience at the top level and have spent most of their careers in park football in Scotland.

Utter, utter shit. Fuck the FA Cup off, send the youth team to Spurs. We need to play a team against Wolves that have had a full week's rest.

Today was an absolute embarrasment no matter what the cannot critise Bolton whatever lot say.

This never works to be honest. I would pick a strong team, and I use the term strong very loosely ha ha, and give it a go against Spurs in the cup. If the players are rested I cannot see it having a bearing on the Wolves game.

today was the first time i actually thought we might be going down.

Muamba is really beginning to disapoint me. It's all well and good bullying 18 year olds in the Under 21s, but how long can we go on playing this 4-4-2 with a central midfielder who can't pass, shoot and doesn't offer himself for the pass out of defence.

Really missing Cahills distribution and goal threat. Zat Knight seems to fancy as a ball playing centre half with Cahill out. He isn't

Most people probably wont be bothered but, batton the hatches if we go down, the press will have a fookin field day on the back of Coyles defection, at least the World Cup kicks off on 11 June, just a month to bear.

Don't post on here boften, read but don't post.

Think we are relegated, pretty much done and dusted. Maybe not such a bad thing to be in the Championship if you're not a JCL but depressing none the less. Off to bed - cant take it any more.

homer, you`ve put a lot into defending elmander recently and for the life of me i cant see why. for me elmander is bobbins. can you tell me what you think he does well? i know the price tag hangs heavy but hhe has to live with it and he isnt doing. several times today he messed up simple passes in a way that i would be embarressed about on a monday evening on horwich all weather. likewise last week against citeh. hes had 50 odd games and the stats say he isnt delivering and thats a fact whether he cost ?8 million or ?8
