M G WHITES Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 homer, you`ve put a lot into defending elmander recently and for the life of me i cant see why. for me elmander is bobbins. can you tell me what you think he does well? i know the price tag hangs heavy but hhe has to live with it and he isnt doing. several times today he messed up simple passes in a way that i would be embarressed about on a monday evening on horwich all weather. likewise last week against citeh. hes had 50 odd games and the stats say he isnt delivering and thats a fact whether he cost ?8 million or ?8 I will have to agree,he did nothing today, sod all.Roberts comes on beats the offside trap and scores within ten mins or so

Guest bwfcdan Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Bloody depressing that today.. fed up.. need to win next week.. Players need to start performing.. COYW!!
Casino Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 I will have to agree,he did nothing today, sod all.Roberts comes on beats the offside trap and scores within ten mins or so absolutely missing the point by miles roberts doesn't play for us so we can't play him over the last half dozen games elmander is streets in front of davies imo if klasnic plays, davies shouldn't davies is an up front alone man or not at all and klasnic needs a partner
derek smalls Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 absolutely missing the point by miles over the last half dozen games elmander is streets in front of davies

frank_spencer Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 My nan could've scored that one against spuz as Gomez had gone walkies, Elmander and Lee did the difficult bit.
derek smalls Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 My nan could've scored that one against spuz as Gomez had gone walkies, Elmander and Lee did the difficult bit. can you send your nan down to the allweather pitch on mondays, we could do with a bit o`fire power in our over 40`s team :: his touch for that goal was sublime, the cross was just a cross, he had an awful lot to do

emus wig Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 davies is no rooney but at least will take responsibility elmo doesnt want the ball scared shitless.
Casino Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 but davies couldn't have done what elmander did seeing as we're pinning our hopes on klasnic, i'd prefer to rely on elmander creating than davies
derek smalls Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 but davies couldn't have done what elmander did elmander would not have scored that goal in 10 attempts goals win games, not passes
derek smalls Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 hmm, actually after watching MOTD, their first goal was deflected, the 2nd was a howler of a clearance from gardener leading to a clearly offside goal and CYL should have done better with that chance (from a lovely davies pass)
Didledee Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 elmander would not have scored that goal in 10 attempts goals win games, not passes Barcelona wouldn't be the best team in the world without Xavi and Iniesta.
Casino Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 elmander would not have scored that goal in 10 attempts goals win games, not passes and davies wouldn't have created it.... klasnic would've finished it, though

Didledee Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 (edited) I know people are saying we haven't scored in 5 League games[myself included] but we did score a perfectly legal goal against Fulham, should of had a penalty against Man City and if Wigan had a decent pitch then Taylor's 1st effort may of gone in. But what's the point in excuses, i really thought the players would get some belief and some confidence under Coyle, but still they dissapoint, this is gonna be a painful next few months, im hating it Edited February 21, 2010 by DidledeeBwfc
derek smalls Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 it wasn't offside and it was elmanders touch in the box that got the ball to davies it was indeed young man, it was indeed. he held his man off and headed it down very deftly (davisesque ) roberts wasnt offside but diouff(?) was a mile off and stood right next to him in jussi`s line. i know the rule is open to interpretation but he`s 1 yard away and jumping up and down so he`s hardly not involved
superbobby Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 At least we now know how many Bolton defences it takes to fill the Albert Hall
Ratwhite Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Muamba is really beginning to disapoint me. It's all well and good bullying 18 year olds in the Under 21s, but how long can we go on playing this 4-4-2 with a central midfielder who can't pass, shoot and doesn't offer himself for the pass out of defence. Really missing Cahills distribution and goal threat. Zat Knight seems to fancy as a ball playing centre half with Cahill out. He isn't get use to it he will be gone next season
