Casino Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 muamba subbed for anybody was the worse decision ive seen in a long time! poor, piss poor. truly unbelievable that was the midfeld selection of a child
HomerJay Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 You must be easily pleased or have been megsonised to the point that you no longer can distinguish between quality and uninspiring dull dishwater. dull or not, a loss is a loss and a win is a win. give me dull, defensive 0-0 over a 3-0 drubbing any day of the week.
HomerJay Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 truly unbelievable that was the midfeld selection of a child not to worry, we can keep booing elmander and taylor each week.
snowball Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 not to worry, we can keep booing elmander and taylor each week. You don't have to boo them to realise if they play every week we will go down. Taylor has lost his mojo and we miss his goals big time. I won't waste any energy arguing about Elmander.

snowball Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 39 points 39 fcuking points thirty nine fcuking points THIRTY NINE???? I had us staying up with 37. But that included a draw today. And nowhere near 14th!

I won't waste any energy arguing about Elmander. i think klasnic will replace elmander as soon as hes fully fit, which is a little unfair on elmander imo. wiess can not replace taylor, he's a five-a-side player imo. gotta be wilshere, but seems coyle thinks not.
birch-chorley Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 39 points 39 fcuking points thirty nine fcuking points THIRTY NINE???? I think we will beat Wolves, Wigan, Pompey and Brum at home and also pick up a point against Villa at home. With a draw away to Sunderland and WHU.
Casino Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 why? what makes you think that we've kept 3 clean sheets against poor teams and can't score

I don't think it is unfair on Elmander one bit. He is not the goalscorer we need and never will be, not even the Championship. Not that it will come to that.
Rembrandt Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 39 points 39 fcuking points thirty nine fcuking points THIRTY NINE???? Quite. I'm struggling to get us up to 34.

Not that it will come to that. our few moments of decent attacking play involve lee and elmander and those are fewer and fewer as lee might be starting to tire weiss might have to be tried out right...i'm not overly optimistic Edited February 21, 2010 by Casino

Not that it will come to that. He's not the goalscorer but i'd say he's a better bet as a link up forward than davies
birch-chorley Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 why? what makes you think that we've kept 3 clean sheets against poor teams and can't score Think we will keep a clean sheet against Wolves, Wigan and Pompey as they are shite. Think our luck will change and we will start getting the breaks at the other end. Klasnic will start getting goals again he is world class finisher.
Athywhite_Mike Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 He's not the goalscorer but i'd say he's a better bet as a link up forward than davies Is he fuckery. They're just as shit as one another. (although in saying that doesn't K Davies have something like 6 assists to his name this season?) I'd start Klasnic with Kev Davies next Sat and if it's not working change it for Elmo and Klasnic.

US ABOVE ROVERS, HAHAHA. id be willing to stake everything i owned on us finishing lower. We're playing for 16th at best. With wolves, burnley hull and ports. They ae the 5 worst teams in the league Edited February 21, 2010 by tarian1979

birch-chorley Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Like i said Rovers fixtures are terrible - Sunday, 28 February 2010 Barclays Premier League Liverpool v Blackburn, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 13 March 2010 Barclays Premier League Tottenham v Blackburn, 12:45 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday, 21 March 2010 Barclays Premier League Blackburn v Chelsea, 16:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wednesday, 24 March 2010 Barclays Premier League Blackburn v Birmingham, 20:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday, 28 March 2010 Barclays Premier League Burnley v Blackburn, 12:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 3 April 2010 Barclays Premier League Portsmouth v Blackburn, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday, 11 April 2010 Barclays Premier League Blackburn v Man Utd, 13:30 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 17 April 2010 Barclays Premier League Blackburn v Everton, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 24 April 2010 Barclays Premier League Wolverhampton v Blackburn, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 1 May 2010 Barclays Premier League Blackburn v Arsenal, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday, 9 May 2010 Barclays Premier League Aston Villa v Blackburn, 15:00

It's getting harder to be optimistic.
snowball Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 He's not the goalscorer but i'd say he's a better bet as a link up forward than davies This is where I disagree with you and Homer. Davies is past his best yes and planning the whole attcking style round him is not working but ...he still contributes more than Elmander. Against Fulham, there were people saying Davies was terrible and defending Elmander. But Davies still all but scored the winner, and put a fantastic ball through for Taylor.Did Elmander put any sort of a better cross in today than KD in the second half? He also at least worries defences but we have nobody playing off him. Today he and Elmander were going for the same ball. There was nothing to suggest they have any sort of understanding. One of them has to go and I know who I think it should be.

Anybody to replace Elmander on his last two performances and Kevin Davies is not far behind Elmander on his play today. Totally agree that Wiess is not the answer on the left hand side; looked promising when he first came on for us against Burnley on the right but I dont think he has the quality. So what do we do because Taylor is costing us big time; the guy has completely lost the plot and its been ALL season; we get carried away with a few good free kicks now and then but his overall play is appalling. I would play Gardner out there with Wilshire and Mark Davies in the middle with Muamba playing the holding role and Chunky on the right - either Klasnic or Kevin Davies up top.

passmosster Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 You must be easily pleased or have been megsonised to the point that you no longer can distinguish between quality and uninspiring dull dishwater. Nope, seems that you can dish it but not take it. Megson teams were set up not to lose away from home and quite often they put up reasonable performances e.g. Portsmouth, Birmingham, Fulham. Generally we were difficult to beat, but football wasn't his aim, staying up was. Give me the latter any day.. Today's team selection was naive and the performance wouldn't get us any more points this season away from home. What's Owen's record. One point at Burnley and one with us?.
