SalfordOriginal Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 15 quid for our tickets Don't tell him that Frank as you will have just ruined his night no matter how good it is Quote
frank_spencer Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Don't tell him that Frank as you will have just ruined his night no matter how good it is Well my ticket was free as the missus has a CEA card which gets someone in for free when she buys a ticket. So the 15 quid is for both of us. Quote
frank_spencer Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 The CEA card is a great system.Sealife do a similar system where this disabled person buys a year ticket and carer can go free. The carer can be any adult not just a named person. Quote

I've only ever watched a couple of marvel films, not usually my thing, but that was superb 9.5/10 Fucking loved it. You can tell it was made by fans for fans, yet still managed to be a fun film for non nerds. No idea how it got a 15 certificate, blood, gore, incredibly creative use of profanities, shagging and a scene in a titty bar. Quote

frank_spencer Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Deadpool was called smug by Claudia Winkleman on Film 2016 Pot ,Kettle and black It was as close to the comics as you could get, minus the multiple personalities. The tone of the film was very similar to the comics. Stan Lee's obligatory cameo was one of his best. Quote

pato Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 deadpool maybe a link from x-men to the Marvel universe as the Sheild helicarrier was in the scrapyard as was Agent Bob from Hydra (ok I'm a geek) Quote
frank_spencer Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 deadpool maybe a link from x-men to the Marvel universe as the Sheild helicarrier was in the scrapyard as was Agent Bob from Hydra (ok I'm a geek) Due to the oddness of the licensing deal that Fox has with marvel, the helicarrier wasn't actually a helicarrier and Bob wasn't a hydra agent as fox can't use those references. It was the same for spiderman and Sony but Marvel managed to buy him back and he'll be appearing in Captain America: Civil War along with one of my favourite characters Black Panther Quote
bolton_blondie Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Just got back from watching Dead Pool, have to admit I really really enjoyed it. I'm becoming a bit of a Marvel geek Quote
